공주야! 한 병 철은 현대사회를 ‘피로 사회’로 진단하며 현대인들은 긍정 과잉으로 다양한 신경 질환을 앓고 있다고 지적했다. 성과로 판단하여 많은 낙오자를 양산하는 시대다. 생존에 쫓기고, 압박감과 불안에 시달리고, 물질에 예속되어 가는 시대를 향한 주님의 메시지는 무엇일까? 우리는 바리새인처럼 율법의 규칙에 얽매여 진정한 자유를 놓치고 있지 않을까? 교회에서 규범 지키는 것을 우선 시 하여 사람들의 고통을 외면하는 것은 하나님이 원하시는 모습이 아니다. 우리는 예수님의 길처럼 치유의 회복이 일어나는 길을 걷고 있는가?

It is not what God wants to see to turn a blind eye to the suffering of people by prioritizing the observance of norms in the church. Are we on the path of healing recovery like Jesus' path?

온 세상의 주인이신 예수님과 함께 하는데도 제자들은 나그네와 약자를 위해 추수하지 않고 남겨둔 밀 이삭을 즉석에서 손으로 비벼 알곡을 먹어야 할 만큼 넉넉하지 못했고 배고팠다. 안식일을 아는 바리새인이라면 자기 것을 내줌으로 그들의 허기를 채워 안식을 누리게 해주어야 마땅했다. 다윗이 안식일에 하나님의 전에 있는 제사장의 진설병을 허기진 제자들에게 준 것이나, 예수께서 안식일에 손 마른 자를 고치 듯이 말이다.

Even though he was with Jesus, the master of the world, the disciples were hungry and did not have enough time to rub the wheat that had been left unharvested for the wanderers and the weak with their hands on the spot. Any Pharisees who knew the Sabbath should have given their own to fill their hunger and let them rest. Just as David gave the priest's disease before God to his hungry disciples on the Sabbath, or Jesus healed the dry on the Sabbath.

안식일은 우리에게 자유와 해방, 배부름과 기쁨을 주기 위해 주신 축제의 날이기 때문이다. 즐거이 순종하고 기쁘게 구원과 축복을 향유하도록 주신 안식일에 서기관들과 바리새인들은 감시와 정죄를 일삼고, 고발할 증거를 위해 형제를 시험하였으며, 결국 안식일의 주인이신 인자 예수를 죽일 모의까지 하기에 이르렀다. 그들은 안식일의 참 의미를 의미를 감추고 지우고 왜곡하고 망가뜨렸다. 기쁨과 해방의 날을 신음과 짐과 의무의 날로 변질 시켰다.

This is because the Sabbath is a day of festivities given to give us freedom, liberation, fullness, and joy. On the Sabbath, when joy was obedient and joyfully enjoyed salvation and blessings, the secretaries and Pharisees monitored and condemned brothers, tested them for evidence to accuse, and eventually even conspired to kill Jesus, the ruler of the Sabbath. They concealed, erased, distorted, and destroyed the true meaning of the Sabbath. The day of joy and liberation was transformed into a day of moan, burden, and duty.

모두가 누리는 날이 아니라 율법을 해석할 권한을 가진 소수만 독점적으로 지키는 날이 되게 만들었다. 그들은 안식일의 준수 자가 아니라 파괴자였다. 예수님이 오심으로 더는 안식일의 ‘날‘준수의 문제가 아니라 한 인격, 예수님과의 관계의 문제가 되었다. 예수님 안에서 왜곡되어온 안식일의 본래 의미가 살아났고, 누리지 못했던 온전한 축복이 향유 되기 시작했다.

It was made to be a day where only a few who had the authority to interpret the law were exclusively observed, not a day enjoyed by everyone. They were not the followers of the Sabbath, but the destroyers. Because of Jesus' miscarriage, it was no longer a matter of observance of the 'day' of the Sabbath, but a matter of personality and relationship with Jesus. The original meaning of the Sabbath, which has been distorted in Jesus, has come to life, and complete blessings that have not been enjoyed have begun to be enjoyed.

안식일은 선을 행하는 날이고 생명을 살리는 날이다. 굶주린 자가 배불러야 하는 날이고, 손 마른 자가 일어나야 하는 날이다. 그리하여 유대교에 의해 말라비틀어져 핏기 없는 말씀이 돌고 생기가 넘치게 하는 날이다. 예수님 안에 거하여 그분과 교제하고 그분으로 기뻐하고 예배하는 날이다. 율법에 얽매이지 않고 치유와 회복의 길로 나아가야 하는 이유는 무엇인가?

The Sabbath is the day of doing good and saving lives. It is the day when the hungry must be full, and the dry must wake up. Thus, it is a day when bloodless words are circulated and lively by Judaism. It is a day when Jesus dwells in him, socializes with him, rejoices in him, and worships him. Why should we move on a path of healing and recovery without being bound by the law?

주님 제게 인애가 없음을 불쌍히 여기소서. 사랑이 빠진 관계는 정죄와 파멸뿐임을 압니다. 딸내미들을 참된 사랑으로 인도할 수 있는 길을 가르쳐주옵소서. 주를 믿고 사랑마저 내려놓게 하옵소서. 우리 부부가 율법으로 서로를 정죄하거나 의무를 다했다고 말하지 않게 도와주소서.

Bless me, O Lord, for I have no love. I know that the only relationship  without love is sin and destruction. Teach me the way to lead my  daughters to true love. Trust the Lord and let his love fall. Please help  us not to condemn each other or say that we have done our duty.
