이런 세상에서 성도와 교회는 어찌 살아야 할까? 공주야! 예수께서 평화를 위해 오셨다. 죄인을 불러 하나님과 화목하게 하고 인간의 조화와 화해를 이루려고 오셨다. 그렇지만 세상은 복음을 감당할 수 없다. 복음은 불이기 때문이다. 필연 불리와 분쟁을 야기 한다. 그의 나라와 대립하는 세상에서 복음으로 사는 이는 어떤 모습이어야 하는가?

It's been like that for a long time, but now it seems that indifference is more common. How should saints and churches live in this world? Princess! Jesus came for peace. He came to call sinners to harmonize with God and to achieve human harmony and reconciliation. But the world cannot handle the gospel. Because the gospel is fire. It inevitably causes disadvantages and disputes. What should a person who lives as a gospel in a world that is at odds with his country look like?

이 세상을 심판하시고 정화하시기 전에, 예수님 자신이 죄인이 되고 죄인의 심판(세례)을 받고 돌아가실 것이다. 그분을 믿는 자는 이 땅에서 시련의 불로 정화되어 구원을 받겠지만, 예수님을 반대하는 이들은 영원한 소멸의 불을 받을 것이다. 오늘 어떤 시험의 불을 통과하고 있는가? 나는 죽고 주님은 내 안에 사시게 하여 정결한 주의 신부로 거듭나지 않겠는가? 예수님은 평화를 주러 오셨지만 세상은 거절할 것이다.

하지만 예수님의 오심은 이 세상에 굴복하기 위함이 아니라 이 세상을 굴복시키기 위함이기에, 이 세상에 매여 살기 원하는 자들은 저항할 것이다. 자기를 부인하고 희생하여 만든 예수님의 평화와 힘과 돈으로 군림하고 굴종시켜서 만든 세상의 평화가 공존할 수 없기에, 갈등은 피할 수 없다. 공평과 정의가 넘실대는 평화를 누리려면 그 과정에서 생기는 창조적 갈등과 고난을 두려워해서는 안 된다. 제자들은 누구인가?

평화를 만들러 오시고 우리를 화목케 하려고 오신 그 예수님의 사역을 이어받는 사람이다. 시간이 없다. 시대를 분별하는 지혜를 가지고, 지금은 당장 화해의 삶을 시작해야 한다. 재판정에 가는 길에서라도 화해하라. 화해의 제단을 지나지 않고 오는 예배는 받지 않으신다. 어서 내가 잘못한 이웃에게 용서를 구하고 보상을 해주라. 그것이 하나님과 화해하는 첫걸음이 될 것이다. 세상을 사는 그리스도인의 삶의 방식은 어떠해야 하는가?

유대인의 동상이몽을 돌 직구로 깨트려 버리시는 주님, 복음 때문에 분쟁은 불가피하고, 복음은 때의 분별과 화해를 요구합니다.

주님, 제가 하나님의 나라와 그 섭리에 대하여 보다 잘 인식하고 시대를 분별하면서 처신하게 도와주소서.
