누가14:1

하나님 나라 제자는 전통적 관습과 규례를 무의식적으로 받아들이지 않고 그 나라의 정신과 가치관에 맞게 행동 양식을 재설정 합니다. 사회적 시선을 의식하지 않고 신앙적 양심과 말씀의 가르침을 따라 행동할 수 있어야 하기 때문입니다. 그 나라에 합당한 제자의 모습은 무엇인가? 공주야! 한 사람이 창을 팔며 모든 것을 뚫는다고 선전했고, 방패를 팔며 모든 것을 막는다고 했다. 모순이다. 비정함과 교만은 종교인과 가치관이 다른 모순이다. 그럼에도 많은 경우 공존한다.

이율배반이다. 문제는 누구에게나 가능하다는 점이다. 어찌하면 좋을까? 이번에는 수종 병든 한 사람을 바리새인들 앞에 세우고 안식일의 참 의미를 설명하신다. 자신이 이미 안식의 나라를 이 땅에 가져왔음을 보여주신다. 자기 아들이나 소가 우물에 빠지면 즉시 건지면서 만성병이라는 이유로 치유 받을 수 없다면 그들은 사람을 위해 주신 안식일의 참 의도를 모르는 것이다. 하나님을 위한 일이라는 이유로 사람의 안식을 빼앗고 간과하게 한다면, 하나님의 안식을 빼앗게 될 것이다.

하나님의 나라는 스스로 자신이 남들보다 높다고 생각하는 사람, 그래서 대접받아 마땅하다고 여기는 사람들과는 상관 없는 나라다. 그런 자들은 타인의 안식에 관심 없고 오직 자신의 권력을 누리는 것에만 관심 있으며 그것을 당연하게 여긴다. 주님이 가져오신 나라는 자기를 높이는 오만 한 자는 낮아지고 자기를 낮추어 타인을 섬기는 자는 높아지는 나라다. 하나님 나라는 대접을 받는

자들의 나라가 아니라 대접을 하는 자들의 나라다.

The kingdom of God is a country that has nothing to do with those who think they are higher than others, and those who think they deserve to be treated. Such people are not interested in the rest of others, but are only interested in enjoying their power, and take it for granted. The kingdom brought by the Lord is a country where those who raise themselves are lowered, and those who lower themselves are raised to serve others. The kingdom of God is not a country of those who are treated, but a country of those who treat them.

이미 하나님께 받은 은혜와 사람들에게서 받은 도움을 기억하면서 나도 돌려줄 가망이 없는 사람들, 내 대접이 아니면 생계 자체가 어려운 사람들을 돕는 것이 하나님 나라의 사람들이다. 이 땅에서 보상을 기대하기보다 부활 시에 새 하늘과 새 땅에서의 보상을 기대하는 자들이기 때문이다. 고흐의 ‘감자먹는 사람들’은 가난한 사람들의 일상을 그리고 있다. 고단한 일과를 마친 가족들이 함께 식사를 한다. 이 작품에서 작가는 감자와 커피를 통해, 부자와 가난한 자의 경계를 없애고 싶었는지 모른다.

하나님 마음으로 타인을_God's heart will give you another man.

신앙의 목적이 폼이 아니고 진정 살리는데 있음을 알게 하시니 감사합니다. 주님, 제가 사람과의 관계에 있어서 상생할 수 있는 그 길을 택하는 자가 되게 하옵소서. 오늘도 상석에 앉지 않게 하시고 사랑의 빚 외에는 빚지지 않게 하옵소서. 회사를 너무 미워하지 않게 도와주소서.
