Dear Members,
Further to my former posting dated March 6 under the title Global Water Crisis,
I’m introducing another video presentation regarding the same issue, as shown below.
It’s really worth watching with your serious attention.
Bottled water is becoming a massive environmental disaster, one that is fuelled by big bucks
and the interests of massive multi-national conglomerates.
Companies in the industry make hundreds of Billions of Dollars every your from selling a commodity
that is available on tap virtually for free in every developed country.
If only a fraction of the money spent on damaging the environment through bottled water was
spent on water supplies throughout the world, every person on the planet could be given healthy
water and sanitation.
첫댓글 Above all, in order to save the Earth, we should not make trash.
We will be able to gain life through inconvenient and slow life.
Have a good day, 방장님~
I couldn't agree with you more. It's my motto.
For that reason, I've been trying to give up a lot of modern conveniences
( home appliances, wet tissues, vinyl gloves).
@울라라 Becoming a minimalist keeping everything very simple
could be one of the best choices to resolve the issue, I believe ...
@울라라 You're a great person who does what you know..
@이젠백 Traveling through Africa for a long time, I learned so much about
the destitution of global water especially in Africa.
When I see people wasting water, it bothers me.
Among Koreans, I have seen people washing fruits and veggies with bottled water.
How odd, and wasteful!
@아네트 I like synchronizing my words, learning, and actions if it's within my limit.
I often find that your thoughts are very agreeable and inspiring.
Destruction of the natural environmental is the begining of human extinction..
Why not?
Natural resources are by no means indefinite...
