『The Windmills Of Your Mind』(네 마음의 풍차)는

1968년 미국에서 개봉 된 '스티브 맥퀸', '페이 더너웨이'

주연의 범죄 영화〈The Thomas Crown Affair〉에

삽입된 곡으로 영국의「Dusty Springfield」가 불렀죠.

이 곡은 1968년 아카데미 주제가 상(賞)을 수상 했으며,

1969년 4월 거행된 아카데미 시상식에서는 시각 장애인

가수 'José Feliciano'가 커버 하여 감동을 배가(倍加)

시켰습니다.

「Dusty Springfield」(1939~1999)가 부른 곡은

1969년 6월 빌 보드 Hot 100 차트에서 31위에 올랐고,

Cash Box chart 에서는 22위까지 올랐습니다.
