My favorite place is Osong Lake Park, my own healing space. Filling it is the beautiful sound played by nature's creatures, not by humans. Another world reflected in the water and all the scents of nature, including green, make me think of nothing. Even if I am covered in darkness, the light and moonlight that scatter over me give a sense of stability and quiet consolation.
(Actually, it's more special to me because it's the first place I went on the day SJGHS acceptance announcement came forth.)
My least favorite place is the veranda of my house. The reason is because of the incident that happened a few days ago. I had left the veranda window open for ventilation. Then I went to the veranda to microwave food on my mother's errand, and I could see a very thin, long-legged creature sitting on a microwave oven. I didn't have glasses, so I kept looking at it for five seconds to notice what it was. I found out by intuition that it was a very huge 'bug,' and at that moment I screamed as if I had won a gold medal at the Olympics. I threw a plate at the table like a flying disc, and in that time I became Usain Bolt and ran thrump-thrump to the living room. I still can't forget that moment. The creature that legs were thin and long, devastated me. That's why I really hate the veranda where the worm was.
