Bible Reading - Acts 9:33~43

9:33 There he found a man named Aeneas, a paralytic who had been bedridden(누워만 있는) for eight years.

그곳에서 그는 애니아라는 남자를 만났는데, 그는 중풍병자로 8년 동안 병상에 누워 있었다.

9:34 "Aeneas," Peter said to him, "애니아야", 베드로가 그에게 말했다.

"Jesus Christ heals you. 예수께서 너를 치료하신다.

Get up and take care of your mat." 일어나서 너의 돗자리를 정리하라.

Immediately Aeneas got up. 즉시 애니아는 일어났다.

9:35 All those who lived in Lydda and Sharon saw him and turned to the Lord.

룻다와 샤론에 살았던 모든 사람들이 그를 보고 주님께 돌아왔다.

9:36 In Joppa there was a disciple named Tabitha (which, when translated, is Dorcas), who was always doing good and helping the poor.

욥바에 항상 선을 행하고 가난한 자들을 돕고 있는 다비다, 번역하면 도르가라고 하는 한 제자가 있었다.

9:37 About that time she became sick and died, 대략 그때 즈음에 그녀는 앓다가 죽었다.

and her body was washed and placed in an upstairs room.

그리고 그녀의 몸은 씻겨지고 위층 방에 놓여졌다.

9:38 Lydda was near Joppa; 룻다는 욥바 근처에 있었다.

so when the disciples heard that Peter was in Lydda,

그래서 제자들이 베드로가 룻다에 있다는 것을 듣고서

they sent two men to him and urged him, "Please come at once!"

그들은 그에게 두 사람을 보내어 "제발 당장 와주세요."라고 그에게 간청했다.

9:39 Peter went with them, and when he arrived he was taken upstairs to the room.

베드로가 그들과 함께 갔고, 그가 도착했을 때에 그는 윗층에 잇는 그 방으로 안내되었다.

 All the widows stood around him, crying and showing him the robes and other clothing that Dorcas had made while she was still with them.

도르가가 과부들과 함께 여전히 있었을 때, 그 모든 과부들은 도르가가 만들었던 외투와 다른 옷들을 보여주고 울면서 그 주변에 서있었다.

9:40 Peter sent them all out of the room; 베드로는 방에서 그들 모두를 내 보냈다.

then he got down on his knees and prayed. 그리고 나서 그는 무릎을 굻고 기도했다.

Turning toward the dead woman, he said, 그 죽은 여자를 향하여 돌이켜서, 그가 말했다.

 "Tabitha, get up." She opened her eyes, and seeing Peter she sat up.

"다비다야, 일어나라." 그녀는 눈을 뜨고서 베드로를 보고서 그녀는 일어나 앉았다.

9:41 He took her by the hand and helped her to her feet. 

그는 그녀의 손을 잡고서 그녀가 일어나도록 도와 주었다.

Then he called the believers and the widows and presented her to them alive.

그때 그는 믿는 자들과 과부들을 불러 그들에게 그녀가 살아있다는 것을 보여주었다.

9:42 This became known all over Joppa, 이것이 욥바를 넘어 모든 사람들에게 알려졌고

and many people believed in the Lord. 많은 사람들은 주님을 믿었다.

9:43 Peter stayed in Joppa for some time with a tanner(가죽 세공업자) named Simon.

베드로는 시몬이라는 가죽 세공업자와 함께 욥바에 얼마 동안 머물렀다.
