사도행전20장 말씀입니다.

[바이블 애플] KJV 흠정역 사도행전20장

1. 소동이 그치매 바울이 제자들을 불러 포옹하고 떠나서 마케도니아로 들어가니라.

And after the uproar was ceased, Paul called unto [him] the disciples, and embraced [them], and departed for to go into Macedonia.

2. 그가 그 지방들을 다니며 그들을 많이 권면하고 그리스로 들어와

And when he had gone over those parts, and had given them much exhortation, he came into Greece,

3. 거기서 석 달을 머물다가 배 타고 시리아로 가고자 할 때에 유대인들이 숨어서 그를 기다리므로 그가 마케도니아를 거쳐 돌아가기로 작정하니라.

And [there] abode three months. And when the Jews laid wait for him, as he was about to sail into Syria, he purposed to return through Macedonia.

4. 그와 함께 아시아로 들어간 사람들은 베레아 사람 소바더와 데살로니가 사람 아리스다고와 세군도와 더베 사람 가이오와 디모데와 아시아 사람 두기고와 드로비모더라.

And there accompanied him into Asia Sopater of Berea; and of the Thessalonians, Aristarchus and Secundus; and Gaius of Derbe, and Timotheus; and of Asia, Tychicus and Trophimus.

5. 이 사람들은 먼저 가서 드로아에 머물며 우리를 기다리고

These going before tarried for us at Troas.

6. 우리는 무교절 기간이 지난 뒤에 빌립보에서 배로 떠나 닷새 만에 드로아에 있던 그들에게로 가서 이레 동안 거기 머무니라.

And we sailed away from Philippi after the days of unleavened bread, and came unto them to Troas in five days; where we abode seven days.

7. 주의 첫날에 제자들이 빵을 떼려고 함께 오니 바울이 이튿날 떠나려고 그들에게 말씀을 선포하며 계속해서 한밤중까지 말을 하니라.

And upon the first [day] of the week, when the disciples came together to break bread, Paul preached unto them, ready to depart on the morrow; and continued his speech until midnight.

8. 그들이 함께 모인 다락방에 등불을 많이 켰는데

And there were many lights in the upper chamber, where they were gathered together.

9. 유두고라 하는 어떤 젊은이가 창문에 걸터앉아 있다가 깊은 잠에 빠지니라. 바울이 오랫동안 말씀을 선포하매 그가 졸다가 삼층 다락방에서 떨어져서 죽은 채 일으켜지니라.

And there sat in a window a certain young man named Eutychus, being fallen into a deep sleep: and as Paul was long preaching, he sunk down with sleep, and fell down from the third loft, and was taken up dead.

10. 바울이 내려가서 그 위에 엎드려 그를 껴안고 이르되, 그의 생명이 그 속에 있으니 걱정하지 말라, 하고

And Paul went down, and fell on him, and embracing [him] said, Trouble not yourselves; for his life is in him.

11. 그러므로 그가 다시 올라가 빵을 떼어 먹고 오랫동안 곧 날이 새기까지 이야기하고 이처럼 떠나니라.

When he therefore was come up again, and had broken bread, and eaten, and talked a long while, even till break of day, so he departed.

12. 그들이 살아난 젊은이를 데리고 와서 적지 않게 위로를 받았더라.

And they brought the young man alive, and were not a little comforted.

13. 우리는 배에 먼저 가서 배 타고 앗소로 떠나 거기서 바울을 태우려 하였으니 이는 바울이 스스로 걸어서 가려고 생각하여 그렇게 정하였기 때문이라.

And we went before to ship, and sailed unto Assos, there intending to take in Paul: for so had he appointed, minding himself to go afoot.

14. 바울이 앗소에서 우리를 만나매 우리가 그를 태우고 미둘레네로 가서

And when he met with us at Assos, we took him in, and came to Mitylene.

15. 거기서 배 타고 가서 다음 날 기오 맞은편에 이르렀고 그 다음 날 사모에 도착하여 드로길리움에 머물렀으며 또 그 다음 날 밀레도에 이르렀으니

And we sailed thence, and came the next [day] over against Chios; and the next [day] we arrived at Samos, and tarried at Trogyllium; and the next [day] we came to Miletus.

16. 이는 바울이 아시아에서 시간을 보내려 하지 않았으므로 배 타고 에베소 옆으로 가기로 결정하였기 때문이며 또 가능한 한 오순절 날에 예루살렘에 있으려고 서둘렀기 때문이더라.

For Paul had determined to sail by Ephesus, because he would not spend the time in Asia: for he hasted, if it were possible for him, to be at Jerusalem the day of Pentecost.

17. 바울이 밀레도에서 에베소로 사람을 보내어 교회의 장로들을 부르니

And from Miletus he sent to Ephesus, and called the elders of the church.

18. 그들이 그에게 오매 그가 그들에게 이르되, 내가 아시아에 들어온 첫날부터 모든 때에 내가 어떤 방식으로 너희와 함께 지냈는지 너희가 알거니와

And when they were come to him, he said unto them, Ye know, from the first day that I came into Asia, after what manner I have been with you at all seasons,

19. 내가 온전히 겸손한 마음과 많은 눈물과 또 숨어서 기다리는 유대인들로 말미암아 내게 닥친 시험과 함께 [주]를 섬기며

Serving the Lord with all humility of mind, and with many tears, and temptations, which befell me by the lying in wait of the Jews:

20. 너희에게 유익한 것은 어떤 것도 숨기지 아니하고 너희에게 보여 주며 공중 앞에서 또 집에서 집으로 다니며 너희를 가르치고

[And] how I kept back nothing that was profitable [unto you], but have shewed you, and have taught you publickly, and from house to house,

21. 유대인들과 그리스인들에게 [하나님]을 향한 회개와 우리 [주] 예수 그리스도를 향한 믿음을 증언하였노라.

Testifying both to the Jews, and also to the Greeks, repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ.

22. 보라, 이제 내가 예루살렘에서 내게 닥칠 일들을 알지 못한 채 영 안에서 결박당하여 거기로 가노라.

And now, behold, I go bound in the spirit unto Jerusalem, not knowing the things that shall befall me there:

23. 오직 [성령]님께서 모든 도시에서 증언하사 결박과 고난이 나를 기다린다고 말씀하시나

Save that the Holy Ghost witnesseth in every city, saying that bonds and afflictions abide me. 

24. 이 일들 중 어떤 것도 결코 나를 움직이지 못하며 또한 내가 나의 생명도 내게 귀한 것으로 여기지 아니하노니 이것은 내가 나의 달려갈 길과 [주] 예수님께 받은 사역 곧 [하나님]의 은혜의 복음을 증언하는 일을 기쁨으로 끝마치고자 함이라.

But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.

25. 보라, 내가 너희 가운데서 [하나님]의 왕국을 선포하며 다녔으나 이제는 너희 모두가 다시는 내 얼굴을 보지 못할 줄 아노라.

And now, behold, I know that ye all, among whom I have gone preaching the kingdom of God, shall see my face no more.

26. 그러므로 내가 이 날 너희를 데려다가 증언하게 하거니와 내가 모든 사람의 피로부터 깨끗하니

Wherefore I take you to record this day, that I [am] pure from the blood of all [men].

27. 이는 내가 지금까지 회피하지 아니하고 [하나님]의 모든 계획을 너희에게 밝히 말하였기 때문이라.

For I have not shunned to declare unto you all the counsel of God.

28. 그러므로 너희 자신과 모든 양 떼에게 주의를 기울이라. [성령]님께서 너희를 그들의 감독자로 삼으사 [하나님]의 교회 곧 그분께서 자신의 피로 사신 교회를 먹이게 하셨느니라.

Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.

29. 내가 이것을 아노니 곧 내가 떠난 뒤에 사나운 이리들이 너희 가운데로 들어와 양 떼를 아끼지 아니할 것이요,

For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock.

30. 또 너희 가운데서도 제자들을 끌어내어 자기들을 따르게 하려고 왜곡된 것들을 말하는 사람들이 일어나리라.

Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them.

31. 그러므로 깨어서 내가 삼 년 동안 밤낮 쉬지 않고 눈물로 각 사람을 훈계하던 것을 기억하라.

Therefore watch, and remember, that by the space of three years I ceased not to warn every one night and day with tears.

32.이제 형제들아, 내가 너희를 [하나님]과 그분의 은혜의 말씀에 맡기노니 이 말씀이 너희를 능히 든든히 세워 거룩히 구별된 모든 자들 가운데서 너희에게 상속 유업을 주리라.

And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified.

33. 내가 어떤 사람의 은이나 금이나 옷을 탐내지 아니하였으며

I have coveted no mans silver, or gold, or apparel.

34. 참으로 너희가 알거니와 이 손으로 나의 필요한 것들을 마련하고 또 나와 함께한 자들을 섬겼노라.

Yea, ye yourselves know, that these hands have ministered unto my necessities, and to them that were with me.

35. 내가 너희에게 모든 것을 보여 주되 곧 너희가 마땅히 이렇게 수고하여 약한 자들을 지원하고 또 [주] 예수께서 하신 말씀 즉, 주는 것이 받는 것보다 더 복되도다, 하신 말씀을 기억하게 하였느니라.

I have shewed you all things, how that so labouring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive.

36. 이렇게 말한 뒤에 그가 무릎을 꿇고 그들 모두와 함께 기도하니

And when he had thus spoken, he kneeled down, and prayed with them all.

37. 그들이 다 몹시 슬피 울며 바울의 목을 껴안고 그에게 입을 맞추며

And they all wept sore, and fell on Pauls neck, and kissed him,

38. 무엇보다도 그가 한 말 곧 다시는 그들이 자기 얼굴을 보지 못하리라 한 그 말로 인해 마음 아파하면서 배에까지 그와 함께 가니라.

Sorrowing most of all for the words which he spake, that they should see his face no more. And they accompanied him unto the ship.
