Year 6 Entry Point - Fairgrounds 박람회장

Year 6 had fun at the fair last week! With their new IPC topic being 'Fairgrounds', we decided to take them on a journey, experiencing some of the old-fashioned fun had at fairs. The day started with a creative twist on portraits, with pupils drawing a caricature of themselves, adding crazy, windswept hair (by blowing acrylic paint in all directions), as if they were upside down on a roller coaster. Next, it was on to fairground activities - here pupils were able to try and win a "coconut" on the coconut shy, hula hoop like the great acrobats and toss a ring to score the most points. After this, we created a delicious carnival snack- apples dipped in white chocolate, covered in sprinkles. Finally, we created our roller coasters using marble runs- some were taller than us and others made the marbles whizz at high speeds. It was a day full of laughter, creativity and curiosity!

지난 주 박람회에서 6학년은 즐거운 시간을 보냈습니다! 새로운 IPC 주제가 '페어그라운드'였기 때문에 우리는 아이들을 데리고 박람회에서 즐기는 옛날 방식의 재미를 체험하는 여정을 떠나기로 결정했습니다. 하루는 학생들이 자신의 캐리커처를 그리며 롤러코스터를 거꾸로 탄 것처럼 온갖 방향으로 아크릴 물감을 불어서 미친 듯이 바람에 날리는 머리카락을 추가하는 창의적인 반전으로 시작되었습니다. 다음으로 박람회장 활동을 통해 코코넛 샤이, 훌륭한 곡예사처럼 훌라후프를 타고 링을 던져 가장 많은 점수를 얻을 수 있었습니다. 그 후 우리는 화이트 초콜릿에 사과를 찍어 스프링클로 덮인 맛있는 카니발 스낵을 만들었습니다. 마지막으로 우리보다 키가 큰 아이들도 있고 구슬을 빠른 속도로 휘젓는 아이들도 있었습니다. 웃음과 창의력, 호기심이 가득한 하루였습니다!
