[RESPONSE] Talk about when you lost your voice. A while ago, I was swamped with work. To make matters worse, I had to go to several staff dinners. As a matter of course, we went to a noraebang after some drinking. While singing, I gave my all. I wanted to put my best face forward with my boss. It worked, and my boss was quite impressed. However, I yelled so much, I got a sore throat. At first, my voice sounded a little raspay. Then, things went downhill. I completely lost my voice. I had to visit an ear, nose and throat (ENT) doctor. The doctor wrote me a prescrption for medicine. For the next week, I had to take it easy with my voice. It was a long time before I felt like myself again. |
[EXTRA TOPICS] 1. What are some effective remedies for a sore throat? 2. What's the worst part about losing your voice? 3. What are some ways to prevent losing your voice? |
