We take a look at some of the prize-winning images from the Siena International Photo Awards 2023, including the photograph of the year from Ukraine in March 2022, taken by Salwan Georges. The winning images and many more will be on display in the Italian city until 19 November.

In nature it is common for fish to feed on other fish but this scene, captured during a dive in Anilao, Philippines, shows extraordinary determination.
