Uplands Year 3 students had an amazing opportunity with Science team!

Yesterday, our Year 3 students had an amazing opportunity to make connections with the help of our secondary Science team!

Students have been studying how light and sound waves work as part of their How We Express Ourselves unit of inquiry.

They visited one of our secondary science labs yesterday and with the help of one of our Year 12-13 science team, got to experience hands-on experiments.

This not only helped solidify their understanding of how light and sound waves work, but excited them and helped grow our IB continuum. Students from PYP working with members of our DP team!
