Year 3 Entry Point - Vanishing Rainforest 사라지는 열대우림

For Year 3's Entry Point ‘Vanishing Rainforest’ topic in IPC, the children went to visit the Botanical Gardens. While there, the children had lots of tasks to complete, including finding the biggest and smallest leaves in the garden and drawing a picture of the lily pond. While navigating through the different jungle paths, the students had a number of things they had to find and take pictures of as proof. Although no group managed to spot any dusky leaf monkeys, they did all see a rainbow eucalyptus, and one group was lucky enough to spot a giant millipede. By the end of the trip, all the children had a new appreciation for the rainforest and understood how lucky they are to have it so close and accessible to them.
