Bible Reading - Acts 12:9~17

12:9 Peter followed him out of the prison, 베드로는 감옥에서 그를 따라 나왔다.

but he had no idea that what the angel was doing was really happening; 

그러나 그는 천사가 행하는 것이 진짜로 일어나고 있는 것인지 알지 못했다. 

he thought he was seeing a vision. 그는 환상을 보고 있는 것이라고 생각했다.

12:10 They passed the first and second guards and came to the iron gate leading to the city. 

그들은 첫째와 두번째 경비병들을 지나 도시로 나가는 철문으로 왔다.

It opened for them by itself, 그것은 스스로 그들을 위해 열려졌다.

and they went through it. 그리고 그들은 그것을 통과하여 나갔다.

When they had walked the length of one street, 그들이 한쪽 거리를 끝까지 걸었을 때,

 suddenly the angel left him. 갑자기 천사가 그를 떠났다.

12:11 Then Peter came to himself(정신을 차리다) and said, 그러자 베드로는 정신을 차리고 말했다.

"Now I know without a doubt that the Lord sent his angel and rescued me from Herod's clutches and from everything the Jewish people were anticipating(기대하고 있는)."

이제 나는 주님께서 천사를 보내시어 헤롯의 손아귀와 유대 백성들이 기대했던 모든 것으로부터 나를 구원해 주셨다는 것을 의심의 여지 없이 압니다.

12:12 When this had dawned on him, 이것을 그가 깨달았을 때에 

he went to the house of Mary the mother of John, also called Mark, where many people had gathered and were praying.

그는 많은 사람들이 모여서 기도하고 있었던 마가라고 또한 불리었던 요한의 어머니 마리아의 집으로 갔다.

12:13 Peter knocked at the outer entrance, 베드로는 외부 입구에서 문을 두드렸고 

 and a servant girl named Rhoda came to answer the door.

로다라는 이름의 여종이 그 문에 응답하러 왔다.

12:14 When she recognized Peter's voice, 그 여자 아이가 베드로의 음성을 알았들었을 때에 

she was so overjoyed 그녀는 크게 기뻐하여 

she ran back without opening it and exclaimed,  문을 열지 않고 다시 달려 들어가서 선언했다

"Peter is at the door!" "베드로가 문 앞에 있어요."

12:15 "You're out of your mind," they told her. 그들이 그녀에게 " 네가 정신이 나갔구나."라고 말했다.

When she kept insisting that it was so, 그녀가 계속해서 그것이 사실이라고 주장하자,

they said, "It must be his angel." 그들은 "그것이 그의 천사임에 틀림없다."고 말했다.

12:16 But Peter kept on knocking, 그러나 베드로가 계속 문을 두드리니 

and when they opened the door and saw him, 그들이 문을 열고 그를 보았을 때에 

they were astonished. 그들은 깜짝 놀랐다.

12:17 Peter motioned with his hand for them to be quiet 

베드로는 그들이 조용히 하라고 그의 손을 흔들었고 

and described how the Lord had brought him out of prison.

그리고 주님께서 감옥에서 그를 어떻게 데리고 나오셨는지 설명(묘사)했다.

 "Tell James and the brothers about this," he said, 

"이에 대해 야고보와 형제들에게 말하라."고 그가 말했다.

and then he left for another place.그리고 그때 그는 다른 장소를 향해 떠났다.
