Asia Aeronautical Training Academy(AATA)

Our students and teachers led by the school management team Datin Low Peck Tim, School CEO, and Mr. Chong Khai Siang, Group CEO, visited the Asia Aeronautical Training Academy (AATA) located at the Senai International Airport to expose our students to the various career opportunities in the aviation industry.

The AATA is a Civil Aviation Authority Malaysia approved Flight Training Organisation. Ms. Catherine Yong, the representative of AATA welcomed our group and led us to the AATA hangar situated within Senai Airport. Our guide for the day was Mr. Stanley Low, an aircraft pilot cadet who gave us a tour of the hangar, showcasing various types of aircrafts ranging from small single-engine propeller plane to twin-engine propeller plane. Mr. Stanley explained the features and functions of each plane, identifying important components such as the engines, avionics, landing gear, wings, among others. Our students had the rare and golden opportunity to sit inside the cockpit of a plane at the hangar.

The highlight of the day was the simulator experience where the students excitedly sat inside the cockpit of a Boeing 737 plane located at the AATA academy training center. We extend our gratitude to AATA for providing us with this opportunity to explore the aircraft hangar and to gain new insight into the beauty of aviation.
