Year 2 Exit Point - A Day In The Life

As part of our Exit Point, Year 2 explored the many different roles that make our school such a special place. From familiar faces to staff members we don’t often see, the children were amazed to discover just how many people work together to keep SCIPS running smoothly!

Our young interviewers prepared their own thoughtful questions and set out to learn more about the daily responsibilities of various staff members. Using the information they gathered, they created colourful and informative posters to showcase each role. The project culminated in a special presentation to the Reception children, where Year 2 confidently shared their posters and helped educate their younger peers about the many jobs within our school community.

Throughout the project, Year 2 displayed fantastic teamwork and truly embodied our 'Expressive' Personal Goal—speaking clearly, listening respectfully, and working cooperatively. We’re so proud of their efforts!

As a special surprise, just days after completing their project, Year 2 had a visit from the local Bomba (firefighters)! They learned all about the vital work these everyday heroes do to keep our wider community safe. What a great way to extend our learning beyond the school gates!

젊은 면접관들은 자신만의 사려 깊은 질문을 준비하고 다양한 교직원의 일상적인 책임에 대해 더 많이 배우기 위해 나섰습니다. 이들은 수집한 정보를 바탕으로 각 역할을 보여줄 수 있는 다채롭고 유익한 포스터를 제작했습니다. 이 프로젝트는 리셉션 어린이들을 대상으로 한 특별 발표로 마무리되었으며, 2학년 학생들은 자신 있게 포스터를 공유하고 학교 공동체 내 다양한 직업에 대해 후배들에게 교육하는 데 도움을 주었습니다.
프로젝트 기간 내내 2학년은 환상적인 팀워크를 발휘하며 명확하게 말하고, 존중하며, 협력적으로 일하는 '표현력 있는' 개인 목표를 진정으로 실현했습니다. 그들의 노력이 정말 자랑스럽습니다!
특별한 놀라움으로, 프로젝트를 완료한 지 며칠 만에 2학년 학생들이 현지 봄바(소방관)를 방문했습니다! 그들은 이 일상적인 영웅들이 우리의 더 넓은 공동체를 안전하게 지키기 위해 하는 중요한 일들에 대해 모두 배웠습니다. 우리의 배움을 학교 문 너머로 확장하는 정말 좋은 방법이네요!
