Meet Keith — a Nexus Year 13 learner who’s been accepted to the University of Oxford.

One of many Nexus success stories, Keith’s journey shows what’s possible when academic excellence meets leadership, innovation and opportunity.

At Nexus, Keith played a key leadership role in the Nexus Model United Nations, the school’s largest learner-led conference, bringing together over 200 participants from across Malaysia. Through this, he developed strong skills in research, diplomacy, public speaking and collaboration — qualities highly valued by leading universities.

Beyond this, Keith founded and led an Applied Calculus Club as part of the IB Diploma Programme’s Creativity, Activity, Service (CAS) component. By mentoring fellow learners and fostering a culture of academic collaboration, he demonstrated initiative, leadership and a strong commitment to service.
