For all you French language and culture enthusiasts, the French Art & Film Festival is back! Gurney Plaza will be organizing some activities from 17 May onwards in conjunction with this festival. For the Film Festival it will once again be held at Golden Screen Cinemas (GSC), Gurney Plaza with the screening of 15 french films from 16 to 25 May. Aside from Kuala Lumpur, Penang will be the only other state in Malaysia to hold this film festival.
The official launching ceremony for the French Art & Film Festival will be held on 17 May, 3pm at the New Wing Atrium with vibrant music, songs, creative art, dance performance, food and wines. Aside from Alliance Francaise de Penang, Gurney Plaza will also be collaborating with L’occitane, Secret Recipe, Cold Storage & Lanvin Paris throughout this period. On 18 May, there will be a painting competition open to all with the theme “French Essence”. Cash vouchers & prizes worth more than RM2,000 to be won.

As for Gurney Plaza’s Redemption for the month, they will be giving away complimentary French Movie Passes from 16 to 20 May 2013. Shoppers need to spend RM350 and above in a single receipt to redeem the passes. HSBC card holders only need to spend only RM300 and above for this. Aside from that, Gurney Plaza will be having a ‘Lanvin Paris Big Spenders Reward’ from 16 to 25 May 2013. The three top highest spenders for each day within this duration will be entitled to an 80ml bottle of ‘ME’ perfume by Lanvin Paris. The prize presentation for this will be held on 15 June 2013.
