This isn't just a kitchen tool; it's a piece of living history. The blade comes from the legendary "ROB. KLAAS SOLINGEN," a brand with over 180 years of heritage, famous for their iconic "Kissing Cranes" mark.

It was curated by the master craftsman Günter Wolf from Siegburg, who has been continuing this craft for four generations.

​In Germany, this is called a "Kneipchen" or "Zöppken"—an essential, high-quality utility knife that has been a trusted companion in German kitchens for generations, perfect for everything from peeling fruit to daily preparation.

​What touches me the most is the beautiful custom engraving on the wooden handle—"해동검도" on one side and our official German association website "haedong-kumdo.de" on the other. It is a true honor to receive such a thoughtful gift that carries so much craftsmanship, history, and mutual respect.
