Year 4 Natural Disasters Inquiry Project

Over five weeks, Year 4 students engaged in an exciting inquiry-based learning project focused on natural disasters. Using AI tools like School AI to support their research, the children explored the causes, effects, and real-world examples of events such as earthquakes, volcanoes, and hurricanes. The project was structured around weekly goals, from forming Big Questions to building models and preparing Google Slides presentations. It culminated in student-led presentations where they shared their findings with Year 2 and 3 students. Along the way, they developed their research, collaboration, and critical thinking skills while learning how to use AI responsibly and creatively in their learning journey.

4차 자연재해 조사 프로젝트
5주에 걸쳐 4학년 학생들은 자연재해에 초점을 맞춘 흥미로운 탐구 기반 학습 프로젝트에 참여했습니다. 아이들은 학교 AI와 같은 AI 도구를 사용하여 지진, 화산, 허리케인과 같은 사건의 원인, 결과 및 실제 사례를 탐구했습니다. 이 프로젝트는 빅 질문 형성부터 모델 구축, Google 슬라이드 프레젠테이션 준비에 이르기까지 매주 목표를 중심으로 구성되었습니다. 학생 주도의 프레젠테이션으로 마무리되어 2학년과 3학년 학생들과 자신의 연구 결과를 공유했습니다. 그 과정에서 학생들은 학습 여정에서 책임감 있고 창의적으로 AI를 활용하는 방법을 배우면서 연구, 협업, 비판적 사고 능력을 개발했습니다.
