“I was very nervous, but also excited to perform in front of such a large audience,” shares Rika Mizuno, Year 5, who played Mowgli in our recent Jungle Book production.

Taking to the stage pushed our Primary learners out of their comfort zones but they rose to the challenge. Through the experience, they brought the Nexus Primary Personal Goals to life: showing confidence in front of a live audience, resilience through rehearsals and strong communication as they worked together and stayed in character.

From jungle animals to leading roles, every learner played their part in bringing the story to life.

Because in the end, it wasn’t just about the performance, it was about finding their voice and discovering what they’re truly capable of.
