The Knicks are expected to retire the jersey No. 33 and honor Patrick Ewing when the team meets the Magic on Feb. 28. "I'm looking forward to it," Ewing told The Daily News. "I'm going to invite as many people as I can." Ewing is now an assistant coach with the Wizards after a Hall of Fame mostly with the Knicks, but closed out by stints with Seattle and Orlando. Ewing will join Willis Reed, Walt Frazier, Earl Monroe, Dave DeBusschere, Dick Barnett, Dick McGuire and Bill Bradley as Knicks who have had their jersey numbers retired. Red Holzman also had a banner raised in his honor to commemorate his 613 coaching victories.
