전도서7장 말씀입니다.

[바이블 애플] KJV 흠정역 전도서7장1. 좋은 이름이 귀한 향유보다 낫고 죽는 날이 사람의 태어난 날보다 나으니라.A good name [is] better than precious ointment; and the day of death than the day of ones birth.2. 애곡하는 집에 가는 것이 잔칫집에 가는 것보다 나으니 이는 그것이 모든 사람의 끝이기 때문이라.     살아 있는 자는 그것을 자기 마음에 두리라.[It is] better to go to the house of mourning, than to go to the house of feasting: for that [is] the end of all men; and the living will lay [it] to his heart.3. 슬픔이 웃음보다 나으니 이는 얼굴의 슬픔으로 인하여 마음이 더 나아지기 때문이니라.Sorrow [is] better than laughter: for by the sadness of the countenance the heart is made better. 4. 지혜로운 자의 마음은 애곡하는 집에 있으나 어리석은 자들의 마음은 희락하는 집에 있느니라.The heart of the wise [is] in the house of mourning; but the heart of fools [is] in the house of mirth.5. 지혜로운 자의 책망을 듣는 것이 어리석은 자들의 노래를 듣는 것보다 사람에게 나으니라.[It is] better to hear the rebuke of the wise, than for a man to hear the song of fools.6. 가시나무가 솥 밑에서 우지직 소리를 내는 것처럼 어리석은 자의 웃음도 그와 같나니 이것도 헛되니라.For as the crackling of thorns under a pot, so [is] the laughter of the fool: this also [is] vanity. 7. 참으로 학대는 지혜로운 자를 미치게 하며 뇌물은 마음을 파멸시키느니라.Surely oppression maketh a wise man mad; and a gift destroyeth the heart.8. 일의 끝이 일의 시작보다 낫고 영 안에서 참는 자가 영 안에서 교만한 자보다 나으니Better [is] the end of a thing than the beginning thereof: [and] the patient in spirit [is] better than the proud in spirit.9. 네 영이 조급하여 분노하지 말라. 분노는 어리석은 자들의 품에 머무느니라.Be not hasty in thy spirit to be angry: for anger resteth in the bosom of fools.10. 너는 이르기를, 이전의 날들이 지금의 날들보다 더 나은 이유가 무엇이냐? 하지 말라.       네가 이것에 대하여 지혜롭게 묻지 아니하느니라.Say not thou, What is [the cause] that the former days were better than these? for thou dost not enquire wisely concerning this. 11. 지혜는 상속 재산과 더불어 좋은 것이니 그것을 통하여 해를 쳐다보는 자들에게 유익이 있도다.Wisdom [is] good with an inheritance: and [by it there is] profit to them that see the sun. 12. 지혜는 방벽이며 돈은 방벽이니라. 그러나 지식의 뛰어난 점은 지혜가 그것을 소유한 자들에게 생명을 준다는       것이니라.For wisdom [is] a defence, [and] money [is] a defence: but the excellency of knowledge [is, that] wisdom giveth life to them that have it. 13. [하나님]의 일을 깊이 생각해 보라. 그분께서 굽게 하신 것을 누가 능히 곧게 하겠느냐?Consider the work of God: for who can make [that] straight, which he hath made crooked?14. 형통하는 날에는 기뻐하되 역경을 당하는 날에는 깊이 생각하라. [하나님]께서 또한 이것과 저것을 마주보게 두신      것은 사람이 자기 뒤에 일어날 일을 찾지 못하게 하려 하심이로다.In the day of prosperity be joyful, but in the day of adversity consider: God also hath set the one over against the other, to the end that man should find nothing after him. 15. 나의 허무한 날들 속에서 내가 모든 일을 보았는데 자기의 의로움 속에서 망하는 의인이 있고 자기의 사악함       속에서 자기 생명을 길게 하는 사악한 자가 있도다.All [things] have I seen in the days of my vanity: there is a just [man] that perisheth in his righteousness, and there is a wicked [man] that prolongeth [his life] in his wickedness.16. 지나치게 의로운 자가 되지도 말며 스스로 지나치게 지혜로운 자가 되지도 말라. 어찌하여 네가 네 자신을       멸하려 하느냐?Be not righteous over much; neither make thyself over wise: why shouldest thou destroy thyself? 17. 너는 지나치게 사악한 자가 되지도 말며 어리석은 자가 되지도 말라. 어찌하여 네가 네 때가 이르기도 전에       죽으려 하느냐?Be not over much wicked, neither be thou foolish: why shouldest thou die before thy time? 18. 네가 이것을 붙잡고 참으로 네 손을 이것에서 거두지 아니하는 것이 좋으니 [하나님]을 두려워하는 자는 그것들       모두에서 벗어나리라.[It is] good that thou shouldest take hold of this; yea, also from this withdraw not thine hand: for he that feareth God shall come forth of them all.19. 지혜가 지혜로운 자를 도시 안에 있는 열 명의 용사보다 강하게 하느니라.Wisdom strengtheneth the wise more than ten mighty [men] which are in the city.20. 선을 행하고 죄를 짓지 않는 의인은 땅 위에 하나도 없느니라.For [there is] not a just man upon earth, that doeth good, and sinneth not.21. 또한 사람들이 하는 모든 말에 주의를 기울이지 말라. 네 종이 너를 저주하는 것을 네가 들을까 염려하노라.Also take no heed unto all words that are spoken; lest thou hear thy servant curse thee: 22. 너도 그와 같이 다른 사람들을 저주하였음을 네 마음도 종종 아느니라.For oftentimes also thine own heart knoweth that thou thyself likewise hast cursed others.23. 내가 이 모든 것을 지혜로 시험하였으며 또 이르기를, 내가 지혜로운 자가 되리라, 하였으나 지혜는 내게서 멀리       있었도다.All this have I proved by wisdom: I said, I will be wise; but it [was] far from me.24. 멀리 있고 지극히 깊은 것을 누가 능히 찾아내리요?That which is far off, and exceeding deep, who can find it out?25. 내가 내 마음을 기울여 지혜와 사물의 이치를 알고 탐구하여 찾아내려 하였으며 또 어리석은 짓 곧 어리석은 것과     심지어 미친 것의 사악함을 알고자 하였더니I applied mine heart to know, and to search, and to seek out wisdom, and the reason [of things], and to know the wickedness of folly, even of foolishness [and] madness: 26. 마음이 올가미와 그물 같고 두 손이 묶는 띠 같은 여자가 죽음보다 더 쓴 것을 내가 알게 되었도다.       누구든지 [하나님]을 기쁘게 하는 자는 그 여자에게서 벗어나려니와 죄인은 그 여자로 말미암아 붙잡히리로다.And I find more bitter than death the woman, whose heart [is] snares and nets, [and] her hands [as] bands: whoso pleaseth God shall escape from her; but the sinner shall be taken by her. 27. 전도자가 이르되, 보라, 내가 하나씩 하나씩 세어가며 전말을 알아내어 이것을 알게 되었노라.Behold, this have I found, saith the preacher, [counting] one by one, to find out the account: 28. 내 혼이 아직도 찾고 있으나 내가 알아내지 못한 것이 이것이라. 곧 내가 천 명 중에서 한 남자를 찾았으나 그 모든      사람들 중에서 여자는 한 명도 찾지 못하였느니라.Which yet my soul seeketh, but I find not: one man among a thousand have I found; but a woman among all those have I not found.29. 보라, 내가 발견한 것은 오직 이것이니 곧 [하나님]은 사람을 곧바르게 만드셨으나 그들이 많은 창안물을       찾아냈다는 것이라.Lo, this only have I found, that God hath made man upright; but they have sought out many inventions.
