"Are they bandits?"
Gais looked out at the campsite spread out below the hill. A massive fence and watchtower, tents, and a weapons warehouse stretched across the vast grounds. Multiple branches led to the central square, and looted carts and goods were piled up like a mountain around it.
"Well, they've set up something like a base camp. "This seems pretty spacious, doesn't it?"
Armored with spears and shields, he headed toward the campsite.
At the entrance, a band of blood-red axe bandits was patrolling, holding massive axes. Red-stained leather and bone ornaments covered its body, while behind it, a band of black fang bandits hid in the crevice of a rock, shaking their beast-tooth collars. The chain gang prepared hooks and chains, while the briquette raiders distributed oil barrels and flaming arrows.
The valley cutters guarded the rock-covered barrier. Leather shield groups built defensive lines by layering shields overlapped with bone plates, while bloodied hunters inspected bows and javelins from watchtowers. The fallen flag bandits stood in formation, clad in worn military armor. The bone-hammer raiders carried heavy weapons, while the mud-slane bandits dug traps in the ground along the edges of the campsite.
The masked bandits moved through the smoke, wearing wooden masks. The Iron-Pelted Boar Band wore massive shields and wielded axes in both hands, while the Red Sand Raiders were equipped with javelins. The distant sound of the Bone Flute of the Night Crying Bandits could be heard.
And in the center stood the bearded king's bandits. Under the command of a leader wielding a giant double-edged axe, heavily armed stormtroopers, crossbowmen, and arsonists moved.
That was not all.
The Black-Handed Bandits were breaking the warehouse lock, and the Hooked Claws climbed up the watchtower. The Poison Needle Thieves loaded their short metal heads with poison needles, while the Broken Teeth Gang wielded clubs and axes. The Smoke Raiders lined up smoke troops and flashbangs, while the Underground Bandits wove through the passage leading beneath the campsite.
The ravenous gang tidied up the ropes and hooks. The face of the soot was hidden among the ruins of a burned building, while the edge of the saw blade was sharpening a rough sword. The slaughterhouse ghosts inspected the kitchen knives and maces, while the Black Feather Squad scouted the surrounding rocky hills.
The explosives hoarders moved gun barrels, and the execution squads installed heavy wirebills on the barricades. The ledger of blood was recording the loot. The lawless monarch’s direct unit was watching over all the troops and guarding the central entrance.
Gais did not stop walking.
As he approached the entrance, the guard on the watchtower shouted.
"You're an intruder!"
The alarm went off. All the groups at the campsite moved at once. Bow and crossbows were drawn, and axes and spears were raised. The Ash Raiders and the Charcoal Faces opened oil containers to prepare weapons for setting fire.
Gais lowered the tip of his spear.
"You all…… "It'll be better to kill them quickly."
What are you saying?
Sticks flew in response. The Molotov cocktails exploded, and fire arrows rained down one after another.
Gais raised the shield forward. A pure white light radiated from the surface of the shield, forming a barrier. The flames engulfed the wall, but he pressed forward.
A fire stick was fired from his hand.
Bulkkot stretched out and cut off the frontline’s attack. Blazing fire spread widely, sweeping through the enemy lines. The bandits tried to block the flames with their shields, but the sudden rush of heat and shock shook their formation.
Gais slipped in through the gap.
The blood-red axe bandits charged head-on. A giant axe fell from above, but Gaisga deflected the attack by tilting his shield. He immediately thrust the spear. The tip of his spear pierced the armor of the bandit in front, and the moment he retrieved his spear, he struck away the second enemy’s weapon charging from the side with it.
The Black Fang Bandits emerged from behind the rocks and tents. They tried to surround Gaisuga, but he turned and swung his spear in succession. He pushed back the charging enemies and unleashed spear attacks whenever an opening appeared.
The chain gang threw chains. Just as the chain was about to wrap around the spear, Gais twisted the spear and snapped the chain away. He pushed his opponent down with a shield and stabbed another enemy with the tip of his spear. Raiders wielding grappling hooks attacked from all sides, but the electric current surged through the spear shaft, cutting off their assault.
The valley cutters rolled the rocks. A massive rock fell down the slope, breaking the fence. Gais dodged the impact by leaping to the side, then raised his shield to fend off the attacks of the bone-hammer raiders. A heavy hammer struck the shield, but he did not back down. A lightning strike exploded from the tip of the spear, hitting the opponent's arm holding the weapon.
Leather shield groups pushed in, their shields interlocked. Gais stabbed the spear low, widening the gap in the defensive line. The firesticks pierced through the gap, and the blazing fire swept up the troops from behind. When the shield wall collapsed, he charged straight through.
Bloodied hunters threw spears from the watchtowers. Gais blocked the attack with his shield and parried the javelin flying at him with his spear. Although the Broken Flag Bandits regrouped to block their path, Gaisga struck down the vanguard with a series of spear thrusts. The following electric current spread through the metal armor.
The Mud Swamp Bandits activated a trap hidden underground. The ground beneath my feet gave way and a pile of earth surged up. Gais leapt and jumped over the trap. As the spear plunged from the air, the electric shock spread across the ground, and the enemies hidden in the mud emerged.
The masked slaughterhouse burst into a black mist. A kitchen knife and a short blade flew in succession through the smoke. A pure white light radiated from Gaisuga's hand. As the smoke cleared, the hiding bandits were exposed, and he cut off their attack by alternating between his spear and shield.
The Iron-Pelted Boar Squad charged forward, spearheaded by their shields. Gaisga was struck head-on. The two shields clashed, producing a dull sound. He pushed the opponent's shield aside with his spear and stabbed through the gaps in the armor one after another. With a flash of electricity, the charge of the armored warriors came to a halt. The Red Sand Raiders blew away the sand and ash, obscuring the view. The Night Cry Bandits blew bone flutes, signaling attacks from another direction. Although several groups attacked at once, Gais did not retreat. Electric current surged from the spearhead, and fire sticks were launched one after another. Blazing fire tore through the enemy formation and spread out.
"Surround that guy! Charge at them all at once!"
The bandits of the beheaded king moved.
Behind them, the Black-Handed Bandits fired blasters. Gais swung his shield to block the bolt and then struck down the attackers as if throwing a spear. Although the hooked clawhead jumped from the watchtower, he blocked the approach by swinging his spear pole.
The Poison Needle Thieves shot poison needles. Gais tilted his shield and deflected the poison needle. The Broken Fangs charged, swinging their clubs, while the Smoke Hunters detonated flashbangs. However, a dazzling pure white light spread, revealing the surroundings even through the mist and flashes.
The underground bandits sprang up from the ground, aiming for the ankle. Gaisga parried the attack with a spear and then fired a fire stick at the entrance to the passage. When the raven-hand raiders threw ropes, they wrapped them in spears and pulled them, and pushed back the dragged-in enemies with shields.
The soot-faced one threw the flaming object. Gaisga fired Blazing Fire to counter the flying flames. The blade of the saw swung the sword, but the spear shaft deflected the blade, and the following spear thrusts struck the armor.
The ghosts of the slaughterhouse swarmed in, wielding hammers and hooks. Gaisga blocked their approach by launching spears in succession. The Black Feather Dan threw a javelin from the rock, but he parried it with his shield and sent the electric current upward.
The explosives hoarder lit a gunpowder keg.
The explosion caused the warehouse wall to collapse. Gais blocked the debris with his shield and charged forward. The electric shock that burst from the tip of the spear swept through the troops around the powder keg. The execution squad of wirecages fired heavy bolts, but a pure white barrier blocked the attack.
The Blood Ledger Group tried to abandon the record book and flee. Gais aimed the spear forward. The current surged through the ground, halting the movements of those fleeing. He immediately closed the distance and quickly subdued the remaining armed troops.
At last, the lawless lords’ direct troops blocked the central entrance.
Medically armed warriors charged in, wielding swords and axes. Gais blocked the first attack with a shield and then stabbed a series of spears to bring down the front line. The firesticks broke through their defensive lines, and the blazing fire swept through the rear. As the warriors scattered, Gais escaped the gap and headed toward the center of the camp.
A giant double-edged axe was raised.
The beheaded king had stepped in personally. The leader, clad in dark red leather and bone ornaments, charged at Gaisuga, swinging an axe. An axe blade plunged down, but Gais dodged the attack with his shield. He immediately thrust the spear. As the beheaded king twisted and dodged, Gais retrieved the spear and stabbed again.
The axe and spear struck each other in quick succession.
The Beheading King pushed through with force, while Gaisga dodged attacks with his shield and continued spear attacks. The moment the axe struck the shield, Gaisa turned his body to avoid the impact. The tip of the spear pierced through the armor, and the electric blast swept through the massive body.
The axe of the beheaded king fell from his hand.
Gais did not stop. He retrieved the spear and unleashed his final attack, and the beheaded king finally knelt down.
The cheers and the sound of war drums that had echoed through the campsite were cut off.
The flames were engulfing the tents and the warehouse. The piles of weapons collapsed, and carts loaded with loot caught fire. The bandits lost their formation, and the remaining armed troops could no longer resist in an organized manner.
Gais lowered the tip of his spear.
"Monsters are just monsters anyway, so they probably thought it was rational to kill them quickly."
He looked at the burning base camp.
"Didn't you say, 'I'll kill you?" You were the first to charge
Gais no longer stayed there. Clutching my spear and shield, I strode forward through the collapsed fence. Flames were burning from behind, and the wide campsite was collapsing along with the plunder they had gathered
As if calling yourself a king... how pathetic..
From then on, do it after I finish
