15:11 No! We believe it is through the grace of our Lord Jesus that we are saved, just as they are."

아니요! 우리는 그들처럼 우리도 주 예수님의 은혜를 통해 구원받는다고 믿습니다.

15:12 The whole assembly became silent as they listened to Barnabas and Paul telling about the miraculous signs and wonders God had done among the Gentiles through them.

그들이 하나님께서 바울과 바나바를 통하여 이방인들 중에서 행하셨던 기적적인 표적과 이적에 대해 말하는 것을 들었을 때에 전체 공의회가 조용해졌다.

15:13 When they finished, James spoke up: "Brothers, listen to me.

그들이 말하기를 그쳤을 때에 야고보가 "형제들이여, 내게 들어보라."고 말했다.

15:14 Simon has described to us how God at first showed his concern by taking from the Gentiles a people for himself.

시몬이 하나님께서 처음에 이방인 중에서 자신의 백성을 택하심으로써 관심을 나타내셨다고 우리에게 설명했습니다.

15:15 The words of the prophets are in agreement with this, as it is written:

선지자들의 말씀들이 기록되어진 것처럼 이것으로 동의하고 있습니다. 

15:16 "'After this I will return and rebuild David's fallen tent.

이 후에 내가 돌아와서 다윗의 무너진 장막을 다시 세우겠다.

 Its ruins I will rebuild, and I will restore it,

내가 그 폐허를 재건하고 그것을 복원하리라.

15:17 that the remnant of men may seek the Lord, and all the Gentiles who bear my name, says the Lord, who does these things'
15:18 that have been known for ages.

이는 남은 자들이 주님을 찾게 하고, 내 이름을 지닌 모든 이방인들도 찾게 하려는 것이다. 이러한 일들을 행하시는 주님은 오래전부터 알려져 왔다고 말씀하셨다.

15:19 "It is my judgment, therefore, that we should not make it difficult for the Gentiles who are turning to God.

그러므로 저는 이방인들이 하나님께로 돌아오는 것을 어렵게 만들어서는 안 된다고 생각합니다.

15:20 Instead we should write to them, telling them to abstain from food polluted by idols, from sexual immorality, from the meat of strangled animals and from blood.

대신에 우리는 그들에게 편지를 써서 우상으로 더럽혀진 음식, 음행, 목 졸라 죽인 동물의 고기, 그리고 피를 멀리하라고 권해야 합니다.
