Bible Reading-Acts 15:31~41

31. The people read it and were glad for its encouraging message.
사람들이 그것을 읽고서 그 격려하는 메시지에 대해 기뻐했다.

32. Judas and Silas, who themselves were prophets, said much to encourage and strengthen the believers.
선지자였던 유다와 실라는 신자들을 격려하고 힘을 북돋우려고 많은 말을 했다.

33. After spending some time there, they were sent off by the believers with the blessing of peace to return to those who had sent them.
거기서 얼마 동안 보낸 후에, 그들은 그들을 보냈던 사람들에게 돌아가도록 평안의 축복으로 그 신자들에 의하여 보내어졌다.

35. But Paul and Barnabas remained in Antioch, where they and many others taught and preached the word of the Lord.
그러나 바울과 바나바는 그들과 다른 많은 자들이 주님의 말씀을 가르치고 설교했던 안디옥에 머물렀다.

36. Some time later Paul said to Barnabas, 얼마의 시간이 지난 후에 바울이 바나바에게
“Let us go back and visit the believers in all the towns where we preached the word of the Lord and see how they are doing.” 우리가 돌아가서 주님의 말씀을 전했던 모든 지역들에 있는 믿는 자들을 방문하여 그들이 어떻게 하고 있는지 봅시다.

37. Barnabas wanted to take John, also called Mark, with them,
바나바는 그들과 함께 또한 마가라고도 하는 요한을 데려가기를 원했으나

38. but Paul did not think it wise to take him,
바울은 그를 데려가는 것이 현명하지 않다고 생각했다,
because he had deserted them in Pamphylia and had not continued with them in the work. 왜냐하면 그가 밤빌리아에서 그들을 떠나 사역을 함에 있어 그들과 계속 함께하지 않았기 때문이다.

39. They had such a sharp disagreement that they parted company.
두 사람은 의견 차이가 너무 심해서 결국 헤어졌다.
Barnabas took Mark and sailed for Cyprus,
바나바는 마가를 데리고 키프로스로 갔고(항해했고)

40. but Paul chose Silas and left, commended by the believers to the grace of the Lord. 그러나 신자들은 주님의 은혜에 그들을 맡겼고, 바울은 실라를 선택하여 떠났다.

41. He went through Syria and Cilicia, strengthening the churches.
그는 교회들을 강화하며 시리아와 길리기아를 두루 다녔다.
