Earth Week events -Uplands with a beach cleanup at Batu Ferringhi Beach.

Today we kicked off our Earth Week events in primary at Uplands with a beach cleanup at Batu Ferringhi Beach.

More than 100 students and family members came to the beach this morning and made a big impact. They took action to make our community better.

Students realised the negative impact that can be made by things such as party confetti, cigarettes and bottle caps which were found littered around the area.

Everyone worked really hard and should be proud of the positive impact they made!
