<P class=lblock_text>Reds acquired RHP Ramon Ortiz from the Angels for RHP Dustin Moseley. <BR><FONT color=blue>We like that the Reds are getting Ortiz here, but to sacrifice one of their top prospects for a pitcher who was probably going to be non-tendered? The Angels had already declined their $5.5 million option on Ortiz. Cincinnati likely will try avoid arbitration and sign him to an affordable two-year deal. Going to the National League should be very good for Ortiz. The 31-year-old right-hander looked quite a bit better last year than he did in 2003, but he was still very inconsistent, frustrating the Angels. He ended up with a 4.43 ERA in 14 starts and 20 relief appearances. 폴버드는 그냥 NL로 요양갔다오는 기분일듯....연봉은 500만불이라고하네요
콜론-워시번-클레멘트-버드-에스코바정도면 양키의 무시나-바케쓰-파바노-라잇-엘듀케와 비교해도 크게 뒤지지 않을거 같네요. 워시번이 예전의 그가 아니라지만 그래도 AL에서는 공수에 있어서 제일 나은 라인업 같네요.
아우...폴 버드 개쉐이....2년 잘 놀면서 1000만 꿀꺽 삼키고 튀네....뭐 물론 미련은 없다만, 개쉐이는 개쉐이..ㅋㅋ

버드... 후반기에 나와서 나름대로 잘 던져줬음. 5선발 치곤 썩 쏠쏠한 성적. 몸값에 비해선 쓸쓸한 성적. 애틀이 연봉 조정 신청했으니 520만불은 확보한거나 다름없는데 500만(사이닝 포함)불에 에인절스로 떠났는지??
