전도서8장 말씀입니다.

[바이블 애플] KJV 흠정역 전도서 8장1. 누가 지혜로운 사람과 같으냐? 누가 사물에 대한 해석을 아느냐? 사람의 지혜는 그의 얼굴을 빛나게 하나니 그의     얼굴의 뻔뻔함이 변하리라.Who [is] as the wise [man]? and who knoweth the interpretation of a thing? a mans wisdom maketh his face to shine, and the boldness of his face shall be changed. 2. 내가 네게 권고하노니 왕의 명령을 지키고 [하나님]께 대한 맹세를 중히 여기라.I [counsel thee] to keep the kings commandment, and [that] in regard of the oath of God.3. 그의 눈앞에서 벗어나려고 서두르지 말며 악한 것 가운데 서 있지 말라. 그는 무엇이든지 자기가 기뻐하는 것을      행하느니라.Be not hasty to go out of his sight: stand not in an evil thing; for he doeth whatsoever pleaseth him.4. 왕의 말씀이 있는 곳에 권능이 있나니 누가 왕에게 이르기를, 왕께서 무엇을 하시나이까? 할 수 있으랴?Where the word of a king [is, there is] power: and who may say unto him, What doest thou?5. 누구든지 명령을 지키는 자는 악한 일에 손을 대지 아니하리니 지혜로운 사람의 마음은 때와 판단을 분별하느니라.Whoso keepeth the commandment shall feel no evil thing: and a wise mans heart discerneth both time and judgment. 6. 모든 목적한 것에는 때와 판단이 있으므로 그런 까닭에 사람의 불행이 그에게 크게 임하나니Because to every purpose there is time and judgment, therefore the misery of man [is] great upon him.7. 그는 앞으로 무슨 일이 있을지 알지 못하느니라. 언제 그 일이 있을지 누가 그에게 말하겠느냐?For he knoweth not that which shall be: for who can tell him when it shall be? 8. 영을 다스리는 권능이 있어 영을 머무르게 할 사람이 없고 죽는 날에 권능을 가진 사람도 없으며 그 전쟁에서는     면제받는 것도 없나니 사악함도 자기에게 넘겨진 자들을 건져 내지 못하리로다.[There is] no man that hath power over the spirit to retain the spirit; neither [hath he] power in the day of death: and [there is] no discharge in [that] war; neither shall wickedness deliver those that are given to it. 9. 내가 이 모든 것을 보며 해 아래에서 이루어진 모든 일에 내 마음을 기울인즉 한 사람이 다른 사람을 다스리면서     자기를 해치는 때가 있도다.All this have I seen, and applied my heart unto every work that is done under the sun: [there is] a time wherein one man ruleth over another to his own hurt.10. 이처럼 내가 사악한 자들이 묻히는 것을 보았도다. 그들은 왔다가 거룩한 자의 처소를 떠났으며 또 자기들이       그렇게 행한 도시에서 잊혔나니 이것도 헛되도다.And so I saw the wicked buried, who had come and gone from the place of the holy, and they were forgotten in the city where they had so done: this [is] also vanity.11. 악한 일에 대한 판결이 속히 집행되지 아니하므로 사람들의 아들들의 마음이 악을 행하려고 그들의 속에서 완전히      고정되었도다.Because sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil.12. 비록 죄인이 백 번 악을 행하고 그의 날들이 길게 된다 할지라도 내가 확실히 아노니 [하나님]을 두려워하는       자들 곧 그분 앞에서 두려워하는 자들은 잘 되리라.Though a sinner do evil an hundred times, and his [days] be prolonged, yet surely I know that it shall be well with them that fear God, which fear before him:13. 그러나 사악한 자는 잘 되지 못하며 자기의 날들을 길게 하지 못하고 그 날들이 그림자와 같으리니       이는 그가 [하나님] 앞에서 두려워하지 아니하기 때문이라.But it shall not be well with the wicked, neither shall he prolong [his] days, [which are] as a shadow; because he feareth not before God.14. 땅에서 이루어진 헛된 것이 있나니 곧 의로운 자들이 있는데 그들에게 사악한 자들의 행위에 걸맞은 일이 일어나며      또 사악한 자들이 있는데 그들에게 의로운 자들의 행위에 걸맞은 일이 일어나는 것이라. 내가 이것도 헛되다고       말하였노라.There is a vanity which is done upon the earth; that there be just [men], unto whom it happeneth according to the work of the wicked; again, there be wicked [men], to whom it happeneth according to the work of the righteous: I said that this also [is] vanity.15. 이에 내가 희락을 권하노니 사람에게는 먹고 마시고 즐거워하는 것보다 더 나은 것이 해 아래에 없도다.       [하나님]께서 해 아래에서 그에게 주신 그의 생명의 날들에 그가 행하는 수고 중에서 그것이 그와 함께 있으리로다.Then I commended mirth, because a man hath no better thing under the sun, than to eat, and to drink, and to be merry: for that shall abide with him of his labour the days of his life, which God giveth him under the sun.16. 내가 내 마음을 기울여서 지혜를 알고자 하였으며 또 땅에서 이루어진 일을 보고자 하였나니       (이는 밤이나 낮이나 자기 눈으로 잠을 보지 못하는 자도 있기 때문이라.)When I applied mine heart to know wisdom, and to see the business that is done upon the earth: nor night seeth sleep with his eyes:17. 그때에 내가 [하나님]의 모든 일을 눈여겨보고 해 아래에서 이루어진 일을 사람이 능히 알아낼 수 없음을 알았으니       이는 사람이 수고하여 그것을 찾아내려 할지라도 발견할 수 없기 때문이라.        또 참으로 지혜로운 자가 그것을 안다고 생각할지라도 능히 그것을 발견하지 못하리로다.Then I beheld all the work of God, that a man cannot find out the work that is done under the sun: because though a man labour to seek [it] out, yet he shall not find [it]; yea further; though a wise [man] think to know [it], yet shall he not be able to find [it].
