UOW Australian National Centre opening the Institute

It was an honour to have Australia’s Minister for Foreign Affairs, Senator the Hon Penny Wong at University of Wollongong Malaysia Glenmarie Campus yesterday to launch the UOW Australian National Centre for Ocean Resources and Security (ANCORS) Southeast Asia Maritime Institute.

This exciting initiative will focus on law of the sea, maritime security, and marine resource management. The Institute will offer specialized education, research, and policy development to equip regional leaders with the skills to address maritime challenges.

She joined dignitaries including UOW Malaysia Chancellor Datuk Seri Michael Yam Kong Choy in officially opening the Institute.
