Meet Therence, a dedicated student at Straits International School, who's diving deep into Mandarin and getting ready for the HSK exam. Studying for the HSK exam isn’t always easy. Therence acknowledges the pressure and the vast amount of material to learn, but he believes in understanding rather than just memorising.

"Believe in understanding, not just memorising. It's the key to overcoming challenges and staying motivated," he shares. That mindset has pushed him to work harder and stay calm under pressure.
