Our ASEAN–UK SAGE Women in STEM 2025 Alumnae came together with partners from the UK Mission to ASEAN, ASEAN Secretariat, and the British Council to celebrate achievements, share research journeys, and strengthen a growing regional network of women leaders in STEM.

Through dissertation pitching, expert-led sessions, and peer exchange, the event highlighted how ASEAN–UK SAGE Women in STEM Scholarship alumnae are returning to the region as role models, innovators, and change-makers for girls and young women.

This year, the community was also joined by our 2025 Scholars, connecting the next cohort with our first alumnae to foster mentorship, peer learning, and cross-border collaboration across ASEAN.

These scholarships are delivered in collaboration with British Council and are funded by UK FCDO under the ASEAN–UK Supporting the Advancement of Girls’ Education (ASEAN–UK SAGE) Programme Phase one — a flagship cooperation between the UK & ASEAN.

우리의 아세안-영국 SAGE 여성 STEM 2025 동문회는 아세안 주재 영국 사절단, 아세안 사무국, 영국 의회의 파트너들과 함께 성과를 축하하고, 연구 여정을 공유하며, STEM 여성 리더들의 지역 네트워크를 강화하기 위해 모였습니다.
논문 피칭, 전문가 주도 세션, 동료 교류를 통해 이 행사는 아세안-영국 SAGE 여성들이 소녀들과 젊은 여성들을 위한 롤모델, 혁신가, 그리고 변화를 주도하는 사람들로서 이 지역에 어떻게 복귀하고 있는지를 강조했습니다.
올해 이 커뮤니티에는 2025년 장학생들도 참여하여 다음 코호트와 첫 졸업생을 연결하여 아세안 전역의 멘토링, 동료 학습 및 국경 간 협력을 촉진했습니다.
이 장학금은 영국 의회와 협력하여 전달되며, 영국과 아세안 간의 대표적인 협력인 ASEAN-영국 소녀 교육 발전 지원 프로그램 1단계에 따라 영국 FCDO의 자금 지원을 받습니다.
