Dear Mr. MooSimHun, Could you possibly provide me the phone number of Mr. An ByungWon, the musician at Toronto? I have a business trip to Niagara Falls, NY at the beginning of Nov. Thus thinking about visiting Toronto for a change. If I can meet you at Toronto, we can have a bottle of wine for sure.

Dear 無明 , Wecome to Canada ! However, I will be in Seattle on Nov. 1-2, and in Vancouver on Nov. 3 -4, and in Norman, Oklahoma on Nov. 5-6. I will return and will be at home in Winnipeg on Nov. 7, but Winnipeg is approximately 2,100 km from Toronto. You know Canada is a bit "big" country.

Dear Mr. MooSimHun, I thank you for the address for Mr An. You do really have a busy schedule. Somehow, I thought you live in Ontario rather than at Winnipeg. Since you did not recommend me good books to read other than highly technical books, I found books that I was able to handle; "Naked in the Market Place, The Lives of George Sand" by Benita Isler and "Chopin in Paris" by Tad Szulc. I was intrigued by the music appreciation sesseion presented by Dr. Park YongGun, who is attending Juliard, an expert in that field. Reading these books made me more susceptible in appreciating Chopin's.....

music and the life of George Sand with whom Chopin lived 9 years and produced a half of all of his music. Dr. Park strongly suggested Chopin was a gay, but I do not agree with him. After reading above two books, I could not find any strong clue that indicate that he was a homosexual. Dr.Park also said Schubert was a homo. I just finished reading another book, "The Life of Shcubert" by Gibbs. According to this book, there was some indication that Schubert may have been a homo, yet it also is not definitive. I wonder why Dr.Park lead us to believe every composers were homo.

Dear 無明 , Yes, I do a bit of travelling these days. Thank you for the introduction of the two books. If I can find time, I will try to read them. Thank you for the info. It looks like "Dr. Park" has a mild symptom of homo-phobia. To me it does not make any difference whether Chopin and/or Schubert is a gay or not. I enjoy their music, which is all lovely.

I hope you enjoy visiting Toronto, which I think is quite different from many US cities. And a "WARNING". Mr. BW Lee is quite old, almost 80 now, but he can still drink a lot. So, if you meet him and plan to have a drink or two, be careful. You can be in an awkward situation.

Thanks for the WARNING !. Mr. An was my music teacher in my middle school days. Even at that time, he use to have a fist fight with other teachers. One day, an English teacher showed up with a black eye. Before the end of the day, we found he got if from Mr. An. Throughout his life, he bragged about one song he composed; "What we wish is Unification..." Schubert composed around 1000 lieds before he turned into 20. You are absolutely right in that a composer being a homo doesn't make any difference in appreciating his music. Thaikovsky is known homo, yet his music is beautiful/lovely......
