Mesolithic shelters. Using teamwork

Last week, the Year 4 students immersed themselves in hands-on learning as they built Mesolithic shelters. Using teamwork, animal hides, woolly mammoth tusks

, bones

, sticks

, and sinew for binding – along with plenty of imagination

– they created some truly impressive structures that looked like they came straight out of the Stone Age.

It was fantastic to see them problem-solving and working so collaboratively to bring their ideas and learning to life!
