After lunch today, I ordered a cup of coffee at the coffee shop in the Festa Winter Palace Hotel.

Here, they give you a small Lavazza card with your coffee — you open it to discover your lucky message for the day. ☕️😊

So I opened mine.

And this was the message:

I had to smile. 😂

Of all the messages I could have received, today I received one telling me to swim with the current.

For many years, one of the central principles I have taught through KiMu has been:

FOLLOW THE ENERGY.

Do not unnecessarily resist the flow.
Observe it → Feel it → Follow it.

But following the flow does not mean losing your center or your principles.

Be flexible with the flow,
but firm in your principle.

This is very close to the essence of KiMu.

Water changes its shape according to what it encounters, yet it never loses its nature.

Perhaps today's coffee was just coffee, and the message was just a random message.

But sometimes, when our mind is open, even a small piece of paper beside a coffee cup can remind us of a principle we have been practicing for years.

Follow the Energy — and stand firmly in your principle.
