I came back home from a 17-day trip in India.
I have traveled to India twice before,
I felt the unique magnetism and inspiration that I wanted to go back to
Waiting for the world to emerge from COVID-19.
I finally put it into action.
It's a course from Mumbai in the south to Delhi in the north, and it's planned by the Indian Tourism Authority.
With foreigners who have applied for the program.
After the group train trip, I personally went to Varanasi and had my last trip.
There are so many poor people that they see the extreme scenes of life, cows, goats, and monkeys strutted around the streets at will,
The coexistence of humans and animals,
The coexistence of life and death,
A huge crowd swarming in dust and noise.
The 힌두교 is the main religion, and the number of gods is 300 to 400 million.
It comes from the belief that there is God in everything.
The exotic atmosphere, huge crowds, and vast temples are brought back in memory, and I have a desire to go again.
I'm back to my daily life.
I have to take care of my health so that I can go on my next trip~~^^
We brought three representative gods.
From the left, Lakshmi (symbol of wealth and beauty), Ganesha(wisdom and good fortune), and Durga (protection from injustice).
* street scenes
* Visiting the temples
* a folk dance
* train accommodation
* Varanasi (Ganges River, crematorium)
* There are so many things and pictures that I want to write.
I don't think I can post it if I do overwork.
I think I need to end it now.
첫댓글 Life is cruel,
That's why we have to boil it.
That's right, but we have to do our best not to regret it at the end of our lives.
I'm thinking about your post. I have never been to India. But when I went to Nepal, I saw the burning of bodies in the Bhagmaty River. The river leads to the Ganges. I thought it's like Varnasi. At the time, I didn't have any desire to go to India. Looking at your writing and pictures, I want to go there, too. Thank you for sharing your great memories!
I also visited Nepal about 6 years ago. Nepal and India have many similarities. I think India is a big country of Nepal.
You(소지니씨) are in India at this moment..
That is in my bucket lists too.
My high school mates are travelling from Nepal to India from Dec. 2023 for the 50th anniversary of high school graduation..
They are in New Delhi now..
I am not with them because of small job..
How nice would it be to meet 창밖님 in India?
I hope that happens someday. ^&^
Oh wow 👌
That is awesome
U had wonderful travel with ur beautiful daughter ❤️
I haven't yet 😕
India also was my bucket list .
When can I go there .
I envy u very very much ㅎㅎ
애니님~~
I would recommend that you go to India.
It gives me a philosophical consideration.
I'm told not to discuss life without going to India. India is the country where many young people who are struggling with life leave to meet themselves. I haven't been there yet but it would be a country with mysterious and human joy, anger, sorrow and pleasure.
You and your daughter had a really meaningful trip.
Enjoyed the photos and thank you for your posting.
Have a good day, 소지니님~ 😊
아네트님, You know India well, even though you haven't been there yet. what you said is exactly what I felt.~~~ ^&*
Hi 소지니님,
The trip to India with your daughter
must have been a valuable experience.
Owww..I can see the dead person's feet in the photo of the cremation.
앗, 해뜰님,
You found the toe of the body.
In fact, there was a body whose face was exposed, and that picture could't be uploaded.~~ㅋ
@소지니 Uwwww, it mus be so yucky...
I think I saw you on TV one day. You were on it, right?
Right~It's me.
방가방가~~^^
.
@소지니 I also saw you and your daughter on a TV program called "I am solo" a week ago, and enjoyed watching it.
You must have been surprised that the face of the person you know was on TV.
I even interviewed a production crew because of my daughter who is almost 40 years old.
