It's a quiet neighborhood. But inside this Saint Pete home, there is a constant, and consistent noise. For nearly four weeks now, almost 24 hours a day and about 50 times a minute, Jennifer Mee has been doing this.
"I get really bad abdominal pains and chest pains and back pains. It hurts."
Jennifer's gone to doctors and tried all sorts of home remedies.
"A table spoon of sugar, a table spoon of peanut butter, um.. raw mustard."
By snail mail and e-mail, well-wishes and suggested cures continued to flow in. And for that, Jennifer is thankful.
"I'm glad that people are really thinking about me and about the situation that I'm in."
But for anyone who doubts these hiccups are the real deal.
"They're ignorant, very ignorant, because I'm not faking it, it's real. If I was faking it, I would have stopped four weeks ago."
And while Jennifer has enjoyed some of the national TV appearances.
"Keith Urban gave me a hug and kiss. That was my best one."
What she really wants is her plain old life back.
"I'll probably jump in joy and scream my head off."
And then, she'd enjoy some quiet.
