Focus:
Focus on Solo, Orchestral and Chamber Repertoire for Flute and Piccolo for all levels of players - Professionals, Students and Auditors.
Dorms:
Room and Board: $675 Students will live in suite-style residence halls located close to the Music Building. Each suite contains four double bedrooms, a double bathroom, and a common living room. Each bedroom is furnished with two beds, two desks, two dressers and two small bookcases. The price includes linens and three meals each day. Food:
The food in the cafeteria is delicious and is not like dorm food at all. The main dining facility features restaurant-quality food with an awesome view of the ocean. View more dining information.
Amenities:
Laundry: There are laundry facilities on-site. The cost is $0.50 to wash and $0.50 to dry (quarters only). Detergent can be obtained in the Pepperdine bookstore or in town.
Athletic facilities: There are several attractive athletic facilities on campus: 440 track with all-weather surface (open 24 hours), par exercise course at Alumni Park, Olympic-sized swimming pool, and the Weight and Fitness Center. All facilities will be available to you as a guest of Pepperdine (meal card will provide access to these areas). NB: The Fitness Center will require that each person sign a waiver prior to using the equipment.
Internet access: Each dormitory room is wired with Ethernet and dial-up capabilities (two per room). You are welcome to bring a laptop and access the internet by Ethernet (your computer must be equipped with an Ethernet card) or through the phone lines.
Getting around Pepperdine University:
The dorms (#19) are located directly across the street from the Music Building (#17). Dining is located in the Tyler Campus Center (#8). Map |
