전도서9장 말씀입니다.

[바이블 애플] KJV 흠정역 전도서9장1. 이 모든 것으로 인하여 내가 내 마음속으로 깊이 생각하며 이 모든 것 즉 의로운 자와 지혜로운 자와 그들이 행한     일들이 [하나님]의 손 안에 있다는 것을 밝히 보이려 하였노라. 아무도 자기 앞에 있는 모든 것을 통해 사랑이나     미움을 알 수 없느니라.For all this I considered in my heart even to declare all this, that the righteous, and the wise, and their works, [are] in the hand of God: no man knoweth either love or hatred [by] all [that is] before them. 2. 모든 일이 모든 사람에게 똑같이 임하나니 곧 의로운 자와 사악한 자, 선한 자와 정결한 자와 부정한 자,     희생물을 드리는 자와 희생물을 드리지 아니하는 자에게 한 가지 일이 임하여 선한 자가 어떠함같이 죄인도     그러하며 맹세하는 자도 맹세하기를 두려워하는 자와 같으니라.All [things come] alike to all: [there is] one event to the righteous, and to the wicked; to the good and to the clean, and to the unclean; to him that sacrificeth, and to him that sacrificeth not: as [is] the good, so [is] the sinner; [and] he that sweareth, as [he] that feareth an oath.3. 해 아래에서 이루어진 모든 일 가운데 악한 것이 이것이니 곧 모든 사람에게 한 가지 일이 임하는 것이라.     또 참으로 사람들의 아들들의 마음에는 악이 가득하며 그들은 사는 동안 마음속에 미친 것을 품고 있다가 그 뒤에     죽은 자들에게로 가느니라.This [is] an evil among all [things] that are done under the sun, that [there is] one event unto all: yea, also the heart of the sons of men is full of evil, and madness [is] in their heart while they live, and after that [they go] to the dead.4. 살아 있는 모든 것에게 연합된 자에게 소망이 있나니 살아 있는 개가 죽은 사자보다 나으니라.For to him that is joined to all the living there is hope: for a living dog is better than a dead lion.5. 살아 있는 자들은 자기가 죽을 것을 알거니와 죽은 자들은 아무것도 알지 못하며 다시는 보상도 받지 못하나니     이는 그들을 기억하는 일이 잊혔기 때문이로다.For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not any thing, neither have they any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten.6. 또한 그들의 사랑과 미움과 시기도 이제 사라졌나니 해 아래에서 이루어진 어떤 일 중에서 그들이 차지할 몫은     영원히 없느니라.Also their love, and their hatred, and their envy, is now perished; neither have they any more a portion for ever in any [thing] that is done under the sun.7. 네 길로 가서 기쁨으로 네 빵을 먹고 즐거운 마음으로 네 포도즙을 마시라. [하나님]께서 이제 네가 행하는 일들을     받으시느니라.Go thy way, eat thy bread with joy, and drink thy wine with a merry heart; for God now accepteth thy works.8. 네 옷을 항상 희게 하고 네 머리에 향유가 부족하지 아니하게 할지어다.Let thy garments be always white; and let thy head lack no ointment.9. 네 헛된 생명의 모든 날 곧 그분께서 해 아래에서 네게 주신 네 모든 헛된 날에 네가 사랑하는 아내와 함께 즐겁게     살지어다. 그것이 현재의 삶 속에서, 네가 해 아래에서 행하는 수고 중에서 네가 받을 몫이니라.Live joyfully with the wife whom thou lovest all the days of the life of thy vanity, which he hath given thee under the sun, all the days of thy vanity: for that [is] thy portion in [this] life, and in thy labour which thou takest under the sun. 10. 무엇이든지 네 손이 해야 할 일을 얻는 대로 네 힘을 다해 그것을 하라. 네가 가게 될 무덤 속에는 일도 없고 계획도      없고 지식도 없고 지혜도 없느니라.Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do [it] with thy might; for [there is] no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest.11. 내가 돌이켜 해 아래에서 보니 경주가 빠른 자들에게 돌아가지 아니하고 전투가 강한 자들에게 돌아가지 아니하며      빵이 지혜로운 자들에게 돌아가지 아니하고 재물이 명철한 자들에게 돌아가지 아니하며 은총이 재능 있는       자들에게 돌아가지 아니하고 오직 때와 기회는 그들 모두에게 생기느니라.I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race [is] not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all.12. 사람도 자기 때를 알지 못하나니 물고기들이 재난의 그물에 걸리고 새들이 올무에 걸림같이 사람들의 아들들도       재난의 때에 그것이 그들에게 갑자기 닥치면 올무에 걸리느니라.For man also knoweth not his time: as the fishes that are taken in an evil net, and as the birds that are caught in the snare; so [are] the sons of men snared in an evil time, when it falleth suddenly upon them.13. 내가 또 해 아래에서 이 지혜를 보았는데 그것이 내게는 크게 보였노라.This wisdom have I seen also under the sun, and it [seemed] great unto me:14. 조그만 도시 곧 안에 사람이 많지 않은 도시가 있었는데 그것을 치려고 위대한 왕이 와서 그것을 포위하고 큰       보루를 쌓아 그것을 치고자 하였으나[There was] a little city, and few men within it; and there came a great king against it, and besieged it, and built great bulwarks against it:15. 이제 그 안에 가난하지만 지혜로운 자가 있어서 그가 자기 지혜로 그 도시를 건졌도다. 그럼에도 아무도 그 가난한      자를 기억하지 아니하였도다.Now there was found in it a poor wise man, and he by his wisdom delivered the city; yet no man remembered that same poor man.16. 그러므로 내가 이르기를, 지혜가 힘보다 나을지라도 가난한 자의 지혜는 멸시를 받고 그의 말들은 사람들이 듣지      아니한다, 하였노라.Then said I, Wisdom [is] better than strength: nevertheless the poor mans wisdom [is] despised, and his words are not heard.17. 지혜로운 자들의 말들은 어리석은 자들 가운데서 다스리는 자의 외침보다 조용히 더 잘 들리느니라.The words of wise [men are] heard in quiet more than the cry of him that ruleth among fools.18. 지혜가 전쟁의 무기보다 나으나 죄인 하나가 많은 선한 것을 파괴시키느니라.Wisdom [is] better than weapons of war: but one sinner destroyeth much good.
