Re: 한국에서 대학졸업, 캐나다 유학후 아마존 14만불 초봉까지

안녕하세요?  UBC ECE (electrical & computer engineering) 최전방 말단 파트타임 instructor 입니다. 말씀하신대로, 최근 몃년사이 software engineering 새로운 분야가 발전하고 많은 기회가 생겨 나는것을 실감합니다. 지난 일년중 제가 직접 경험한 두가지 실예입니다.  1. Gandeeva $40M investment - 지도했던 프로젝트중, 3년에 걸쳐 준비하여 회사설립에 성공한 사례 UBC ECE Capstone worked with Sriram (founder & CEO) for three consecutive projects and he decided to launch Gandeeva last year. Amazing progress for a startup, landing on $40 M series A offering. Landing on a $300K Job - 금년 지도했던 학생 한명이 익명으로 남긴 코멘트. 초봉 $300K CDN (직장은 미국) 직장잡은 사례 Reading off one of the comments from the "Student Experience of Instruction" this year.  "This course help me land my 300K per year job so no complaints, I think brand recognition is a must–have, I hope we get more F500 / FAANG / Quant companies to sponsor our project, it will greatly boost post–graduation income for students" 이 두가지 예의 공통점은 software engineering 내, Machine Learning 분야입니다.  한국도 이분야에 전반적으로 앞서 가는것으로 알고 있습니다. 감사합니다. 프롬 롬 (주: 한국 본명이 이태리 입니다 - 학창시절 별명이 로마 ㅎㅎ)
