🤠 cool breeze makes the windows close in the morning and evening, and autumn is ripening.
Today,
It's "World Car-Free Day," and it's a global environmental campaign to reduce the use of private cars and use eco-friendly transportation. Instead of driving, I use public transportation like buses or subways, and for short distances, I walk or ride a bicycle. We must participate in reducing carbon emissions in the city center.
And today, it is "World Rhino Day," designated by the World Wildlife Fund to protect rhinos endangered by poaching and habitat destruction and to raise awareness.
But young people may not know, but it was a day when there was an interesting and exhilarating event in modern times.
On September 22, 1966, Representative Kim Doo-han threw waste (human feces) into the cabinet seats of the National Assembly plenary session in protest of the saccharin smuggling incident involving Korea Fertilizer, an affiliate of the Samsung Group.
The incident where Samsung Group's Korea Fertilizer Industry secretly profited from saccharin by disguising it as construction materials was exposed to the media, sparking public outrage. During the interpellation session, Representative Kim Doo-han strongly criticized the government's lukewarm attitude and responsibility, and distributed containers filled with human waste that he had prepared in advance to the Prime Minister and other cabinet members.
Really, pleasant. Refreshing. Isn't it exhilarating?
Is there no such person at the National Assembly Hall in Yeouido?
I love you. 💜💜💜💜💜
