Year 2 students are beginning a new Unit of Inquiry

Year 2 students are beginning a new Unit of Inquiry, Where We Are in Place and Time. Students will learn about how the geography of islands affects the people that live there.

Students will learn about many aspects of life including weather and how that affects communities.

In small groups they were brainstorming “What for the word temperature mean to me?” This will later be connected to weather snd environment.

Students then honed their communication and presentation skills by sharing their ideas with the class in small groups.
