Pancake Races at MCM! MCM에서 열리는 팬케이크 레이스!

Today, we celebrated a much-loved tradition with our annual Pancake Races. Pupils from Pre-Prep to Seniors took part, flipping pancakes as they raced for House victory—and even our Beaks joined in.

What’s a Pancake Race?

Held on Shrove Tuesday, this tradition dates back centuries. Originally a way to use up ingredients before Lent, it has become a fun test of speed and skill— racing while flipping a pancake in a pan.

Well done to all who took part— a true Lent Term highlight.

오늘 우리는 매년 열리는 팬케이크 레이스로 많은 사랑을 받는 전통을 축하했습니다. 준비 전부터 시니어까지 학생들이 참여하여 팬케이크를 뒤집고 하우스 우승을 차지하기 위해 레이스를 펼쳤고, 심지어 비크스도 동참했습니다.
팬케이크 레이스란 무엇인가요?
슈로브 화요일에 열리는 이 전통은 수세기 전으로 거슬러 올라갑니다. 원래 사순절 이전에 재료를 소진하는 방법이었지만 팬에 팬케이크를 뒤집고 경주하는 등 속도와 기술을 테스트하는 재미있는 시간이 되었습니다.
