Throwback to the amazing Project-Based Learning (PBL) projects our Year 5 and Year 6 students completed at the end of last term.

Our upper primary students took on the challenge of protecting our planet with some very creative themes:

Year 5: Upcycling

The students learned how to give new life to old items! They explored how we can reduce waste by turning things that are usually thrown away into something useful and beautiful.

Year 6: Renewable Resources & Sustainability

Our Year 6 classes looked at the “big picture” of energy. They researched how we can use natural power like the sun and wind to help our world stay healthy and sustainable for years to come.

It was wonderful to see our students use their imagination and research skills to solve these real-world problems. Great job to all our young environmentalists!

우리 초등학교 고학년 학생들은 매우 창의적인 주제로 지구를 보호하는 도전에 나섰습니다:
5학년: 업사이클링
학생들은 오래된 물건에 새로운 생명을 불어넣는 방법을 배웠습니다! 그들은 보통 버려지는 물건을 유용하고 아름다운 것으로 바꾸어 쓰레기를 줄일 수 있는 방법을 탐구했습니다.
6년차: 재생 가능 자원 및 지속 가능성
6학년 수업에서는 에너지의 '큰 그림'을 살펴봤습니다. 태양과 바람과 같은 자연 에너지를 사용하여 앞으로 몇 년 동안 세상이 건강하고 지속 가능하도록 도울 수 있는 방법을 연구했습니다.
학생들이 상상력과 연구 능력을 발휘하여 실제 문제를 해결하는 모습을 볼 수 있어서 정말 좋았습니다. 모든 젊은 환경운동가 여러분 모두 수고하셨습니다!
