Stepping Into History at Melaka Prison Museum

Our students explored a different side of history during their visit to the Melaka Prison Museum.

Once a functioning prison, the museum now stands as a window into Malaysia’s correctional history, preserving the stories, structures, and memories of the past. Through its historic cells, carefully curated exhibits, and fascinating displays, students gained a deeper understanding of the prison system and the significant role this facility played throughout the years.

With every corner revealing a new story and every exhibit offering a valuable lesson, the visit became a memorable experience filled with discovery, reflection, and appreciation for history.

멜라카 교도소 박물관에서 역사를 체험하다

우리 학생들은 말라카 감옥 박물관을 방문하며 역사의 또 다른 면을 탐구했습니다.

한때 실제로 운영되던 감옥이었던 이 박물관은 현재 말레이시아 교정 역사의 창으로서 과거의 이야기와 건축물, 그리고 기억들을 보존하고 있습니다. 역사적인 감방과 정성껏 준비된 전시물, 흥미로운 디스플레이를 통해 학생들은 교도소 제도와 이 시설이 오랜 세월 동안 맡았던 중요한 역할에 대해 더 깊이 이해할 수 있었습니다.

모든 모퉁이마다 새로운 이야기가 숨어 있고, 모든 전시물이 소중한 교훈을 전해 주는 이 방문은 발견과 성찰, 그리고 역사를 향한 감사로 가득한 잊지 못할 경험이 되었습니다.
