죠지브라운대학교의 컬리너리매니지먼트 학과는 아시다시피 너무~나도유명하여 약 반년이상전에 모두 마감되버리기도 하는 유명프로그램입니다.  그러므로 조지브라운칼리지 요리학과 지원을 생각하시는 학생분들께서는 시작하고자하는 학기로부터 약 일년전부터 (토플/아이엘츠점수가 있는경우)  혹은 약 2년전부터 (조건부입학으로 입학하는경우) 입학신청을 준비하시는 것이 권장됩니다.

컬리너리매니지먼트 학과는 2년제 과정으로서 졸업후 온타리오 컬리지 디플로마(준학사과정) 이 수여됩니다.   매년 1월 9월에 시작일이 있으며,  세인트 제임스 캠퍼스에서 수업을 합니다.

OUR PROGRAM

This is the route to the top of your field. You’ll learn everything you need to know to succeed as a chef, cook or culinary manager in our two-year Culinary Management diploma program at George Brown College. Demonstrations, lectures and hands-on practice will teach you the skills you’ll need for a successful career in today’s high-end restaurants. And you’ll become the kind of well-rounded graduate everyone in the industry is searching for. In addition to hands-on cooking labs, our special-focus courses will teach you about the changing culinary world, the interpersonal skills you’ll need to build a successful career, and the leadership skills you’ll need to run a business. To top it all off, you’ll also complete a unique industry externship program, which will give you a chance to work with top chefs.

Students who successfully complete this program may be granted advanced standing at Johnson & Wales University (with campuses in Rhode Island, Florida, Colorado and North Carolina) and other leading international universities.

Graduates may be eligible for direct entry into the Food and Nutrition Management program, if they have taken an accounting course, or Culinary Arts – Italian.

George Brown Program:
Culinary Management

Students who successfully complete this program may be granted advanced standing at Ryerson Polytechnic University, Johnson & Wales University (with campuses in Rhode Island, Florida, Colorado and North Carolina), and other leading international universities. Graduates may be eligible for direct entry into the Food and Nutrition Management program, providing they have taken an accounting course, or the Italian Culinary Arts program.

Bachelor of Science-Culinary Arts

George Brown College grads of the two year Culinary Management program can earn a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Culinary Arts with an Associate in Science (A.S.) degree in Culinary Arts from Johnson and Wales University in Providence, Rhode Island (also campuses in Miami, Florida). Upon completion of the George Brown College two year Culinary Management program, with grades at or above a C level (2.0), students will be required to submit a separate application to Johnson and Wales University. Students must successfully complete 13 additional courses to be eligible for the Applied Science Degree and an additional 21 courses for the Bachelor of Science Degree in Culinary Arts. Credits for General Education electives may be granted if comparable to any of the required Johnson and Wales' general studies courses.
