■ Self-Giving Love and
KiMu Healing
The image above was originally shared on Facebook by Master Lisa Kozak, who teaches Haedong Kumdo in the United States.
Its meaning is deeply aligned with the essence of the KiMu Healing Session, so I am sharing it here for all of us to reflect upon together.
UBI CARITAS ET AMOR, DEUS IBI EST.
Where self-giving love is, God is there.
The meaning contained in this phrase corresponds closely with the essence of the KiMu Healing Session.
○ Self-giving love
→ The beginning of healing
○ Transformation of consciousness → The true purpose of KiMu training
○ The presence of God
→ A connection with the invisible world
In the newly created image based on this message, the cross, the open hands, and the light radiating from within symbolize self-giving love and the transformation of consciousness that arises from it.
Shin-Chim Training enables us to experience the meaning of this message directly through the body and allows that experience to bring about a transformation of consciousness.
No matter how many profound teachings we know or how deep our faith may be, if they do not lead to actual experience, those teachings remain abstract ideas or mysterious concepts. When this happens, faith and truth become separated from our daily lives.
The purpose of Shin-Chim Training is neither to mystify invisible energy nor merely to heal the physical body.
It is a practical discipline through which we directly experience self-giving love and our connection with all living beings, allowing that experience to transform our thoughts and actions.
Shin-Chim Training is a central practice within KiMu Healing, one of the five training systems of Jinyoung Ssangkum Ryu:
K-Breathing,
K-Movement,
K-Meditation,
K-Body,
and K-Healing.
In English, it is also expressed as Vipassana Acupuncture.
Here, Vipassana Acupuncture does not refer to a medical procedure intended to treat disease.
It refers to a unique Jinyoung Ssangkum Ryu practice through which practitioners observe and experience the flow of energy felt within the body and, through that experience, look deeply into themselves.
Through such direct experience, we come to understand our relationship with ourselves, others, nature, and all living beings in a new way.
By putting this realization into practice in our daily lives, we can achieve a transformation of consciousness and spiritual growth.
This is the ultimate purpose and mission of transmitting Jinyoung Ssangkum Ryu training throughout the world.

UBI CARITAS ET AMOR, DEUS IBI EST.

UBI CARITAS ET AMOR, DEUS IBI EST.
Where self-giving love is, God is there.
Vipassana- Acupuncture
