A big welcome to our newest Nexus teachers! 

Ms Sahmalah and Ms Siti recently organised our annual Welcome session to help our new teachers feel at home as they begin their journey with us in Malaysia.

We shared an introduction to Malaysia as a country, its history, natural landscapes, people and diverse cultures, alongside practical tips for everyday life and settling in. And of course, no introduction to Malaysia would be complete without experiencing some of our food, including an epic durian eating challenge!

More than an orientation, the session was about warming our new colleagues up to Malaysia and giving them a sense of the place, people and culture they will now call home.

A strong school community starts with people who support one another, share ideas and celebrate what each person brings to the team.

새로 합류하신 넥서스 선생님들, 진심으로 환영합니다!

사흐말라 선생님과 시티 선생님께서 최근 말레이시아에서 우리와 함께 여정을 시작하는 신임 교사들이 편안함을 느낄 수 있도록 연례 환영회를 준비해 주셨습니다.

말레이시아라는 나라의 역사, 자연 경관, 사람들, 다양한 문화에 대해 소개하고, 일상생활과 정착에 도움이 되는 실용적인 팁도 함께 나누었습니다. 그리고 말레이시아를 소개할 때 음식 체험, 특히 멋진 두리안 먹기 챌린지를 빼놓을 수 없죠!

단순한 오리엔테이션을 넘어, 이번 세션은 새로 온 동료들이 말레이시아에 적응하고 앞으로 살게 될 곳과 사람들, 문화에 대한 감각을 갖도록 돕는 자리였습니다.

강한 학교 공동체는 서로를 지지하고, 아이디어를 나누며, 각자가 팀에 기여하는 것을 함께 기념하는 사람들로부터 시작됩니다.
