Since exams are a burden, if there were no of them, students would be willing to attend school. Struggling with exams, even making terrible choices because of them. Exams catch innocent people. But it is not only the killing test. There are also life-saving tests. Scholars who view James as a refutation of the “justification by faith” in Romans place its date after A.D. 55–57, but this is merely an estimate. I don't know the exact year of the technology. The recipient is "the twelve scattered tribes (1)."-
There are also scholarly differences regarding these twelve scattered tribes, but I view them as a diaspora living throughout the Roman Empire, which was under James's jurisdiction. The author of the epistle is James, the brother of Jesus, who introduces himself as "James, a servant of God and Jesus Christ (2)." One day, his older brother became his lord. During the Goryeo period, King Gwangjong was the founder of the nation of Goryeo after King Geon, leaving behind major achievements such as the abolition of slavery and the implementation of the civil service examination system.
-
To strengthen his royal authority, he spent his life waging civil wars against registered officials; one day, his younger brother Hyo, caught up in a rebellion, called him "Brother, Your Majesty," and Gwangjong responded with a royal edict. Jacob calling his elder brother his lord now is a sign of tremendous faith. As descendants of the twelve tribes who have preserved their faith through suffering and trials, the saints are those who regard this land as a wilderness and live scattered as strangers (1 Peter 1:1).This world began by opposing the Kingdom of God and exists in defiance of His rule; therefore, faith is the acceptance of its existence.
-
Relying solely on the resources of the land for safety cannot uphold faith, nor can one reach one’s true homeland. For believers, trials are not something that cannot happen; they are something that must come. Therefore, we should not respond with surprise or despair, but allow God's purpose and intention to be fulfilled through that trial. Having lived for half a century, I can say that exams are always harsh and difficult.
-
First, since all of this happens in the course of God's work, our attitude toward trials must be exceptional. Because His will and purpose will surely be fulfilled, the Apostle James teaches us to trust God and seek wisdom from Him, who gives generously, whenever we encounter various kinds of trials in our lives. Especially, while explaining how spiritual insight is applied to the issue of wealth, it says that those who have been humbled (made poor) because of Christ should boast in their exaltation as children of the Lord.
-
The rich say that if one knows their wealth is not limited and remains humble, they can overcome the trials that come because of money. To succeed in an exam, you need wisdom. Does the person of the test the believer the attitude toward the test the joy in the test the way to overcome the test James’ exhortation to take the test joyfully mean to affirm suffering itself, or to actively transform one’s life even amid it? Do exams bring down people, or make them mature?

Lord, I know that being a believer means being called into the wilderness and that life is a test. Help me grasp the paradigm of trial, patience, and wholeness, and so that by enduring in my current situation, I may be held by the Lord’s hand as He advances holiness. Lord, realizing once again my lack of wisdom, I will diligently learn Your word Please lower my eyes and, with a contrite heart, help me not live a life without a sense of purpose in everything. Help us become wise in avoiding and overcoming trials by not merely admiring the splendor of flowers, but by clearly recognizing their finiteness.
