■ 영어기도문 만들기 11 1. Opening prayer(다양한 하나님의 호칭) 1) 하늘에 계신 아버지여 - Our heavenly Father, Our Father in heaven 2) 은혜로우신 하나님 - Our gracious God 3) 사랑의 하나님 - Our God of love 4) 내 의의 하나님이여 - O God of my righteousness 5) 나의 왕, 나의 하나님이여 - My king and my God 6) 지극히 높으신 여호와여 - the Lord, the Most High 7) 거룩하신 하나님 - Our Holy God 8) 전능하신 하나님 - Almighty God 9) 나를 구원하여 주신 살아계신 나의 하나님 - My Savior, living God 10) 만군의 여호와 - Lord Almighty 11) 모든 신 위에 크신 왕 - the great king above all gods 12) 자비로우신 하나님 - Our compassionate God 13) 사랑이 풍성하신 하나님 - Our Lord abounding in love 하나님의 이름에 대해서는 그냥 반복해서 외워야 합니다. 사랑의 하나님하면 바로 Our God of love 자연스럽게 나와야 합니다. 2. Thanksgiving and Praising 기도를 시작하고 기도가 전개되는 과정에서 감사와 찬양의 기도를 합니다. 문장으로 들어가기 전에 가장 기본적으로 알아야 할 사실이 있습니다. 영어의 가장 기본이 되는 문장 형태는 "주어 + 동사 + 목적어" 입니다. 굳이 우리 말로 하면 "우리는 감사합니다 주님의 은혜를" 이런 순으로 하게 됩니다. 오늘 배울 것은 모두 이 구조로 이루어지니까 꼭 알아두셔야 합니다. '~에 대해서 감사합니다.' 'We thank you for ~' for는 감사한 것에 대한 이유를 연결하여 준다. We thank you for your love. (grace, deliverance, care) - 주님의 사랑(은혜, 구원, 돌보심)에 감사합니다 We thank you for your unlimited mercy - 주님의 끊없는 자비에 감사드립니다. *감사하는 주체는 당연히 우리 자신이기에 생략이 가능합니다. ‘~를 찬양합니다’ We praise Lord - 주님을 찬양합니다. :주체 + praise + 대상 We praise your name - 주님의 이름을 찬양합니다. {확장시켜서 sing + praise : 찬양으로 노래하다} We sing praise to the name of the Lord - 주의 이름을 찬양합니다. We sing praise to the name of the Lord Most High - 지극히 높으신 여호와의 이름을 찬양합니다. '의지합니다‘ : depend on 또는 trust in을 사용합니다. Fill my heart with praise 제 가슴에 주님을 찬양하는 마음을 가득채우소서 I give unto the Lord the glory due unto his name 여호와의 이름에 합당한 영광을 돌립니다. The Lord is my light and salvation 여호와는 나의 빛이요 구원이십니다. Make us praise thee not only with lips, but in our lives. 입술로만 찬양하는 것이 아니라 삶속에서 주님을 찬양하게 하옵소서. Help me to do delightful in the midst of distress! 환난 가운데서도 기뻐하게 하옵소서 3. Repentance(회개기도) '~을 용서하여 주옵소서' 'Forgive us ~' 뒤에는 명사형으로 단어가 오면 됩니다. 죄에 대해서 문장으로 표현하기 위해서는 관계대명사 that을 붙이고 문장을 넣으면 됩니다. ex) Forgive us our trespasses(sins) : 우리의 죄를 용서하옵소서 (주기도문中) trespass(트레스패스)는 넘지말아야 할 선을 넘는 것, 즉 죄를 말합니다. ex) Forgive us that we are complaining : 우리가 불평하는 것을 용서하옵소서 ex) Please forgive us our trespasses : 이 문장 앞에 Please를 붙이면 좀더 간절한 기도문이 됩니다. <여러 기도문> I am weak 나는 연약합니다. The only thing that will take me to heaven is a belief and knowledge of Jesus Christ, the Son of the only true God.
